I was in Ghana when my mother transition in Florida and her dying words to my eldest, Kwame, was, 'don't let your mother give me no Afrikan burial ceremony'! We must keep plugging away nonetheless and stay grounded in our Pan-Afrikan identity, culture, values and tradition.
@@Hopefh55 you're absolutely right. Most of the people in my life are in a deep state of sleep. I leave them where I found them and keep it moving. I think most of them will leave this lifetime still asleep unfortunately.
So did Pan Africnism, we didn't become African until 1989 (Jesse Jackson), there are only a few elders (1925) that can tell you anything about African heritage.

Omg 😳 Professor Smalls is preaching. Not only speaking truth , but making it simplistic. He basically conquered majority of the black communities problems in a little over an hour. I loved how he talked about police reform. Gonna read the books he mentioned and listen to this over and over again.

this was an interesting video full of great info. but I also got the feeling Professor Small "seems" Very matter-of-fact, distinctly sharper than he Normally would be ... in a discussion. perhaps It's me..
When the world was joined there were African which was West Africa, when the continent split the Africans on the West stayed on the West. These Africans mated with the Vikings and Chinese to create what they called Indians but they were really mixed race.
You still have to fight because American is an apartied country to this day. I was in America in 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014 and I saw how black people are treated. Blacks are not treated equal. Racism is suttle but very prominent. I saw it with my own eyes.
I'm sorry but I don't understand, I always thought we were a warrior people, but it seems we lost every war to white people.

the one thing that people love more than the color of their own skin is the color of money, greed is humanities worst flaw. Every human civilization has fallen because of it, every war ever fought was fought over money or land, many reasons are given for killing each other, but in my opinion at the center, it is always greed, and then the winner claims the moral high ground of course.

I love Prof. Smalls but wish he did not cut in so prematurely on almost every point. He does this on every interview I can find. He’s better when he’s just speaking & can’t over talk the guest. He sometimes makes it adversarial for no reason.

I've been so distracted by TH-cam drama among black folks, drama in the rest of the world, that I completely forgot about all of our great teachers like Professor Small to help me get back to reality in what we must do. I'll take that back, Dr. Carr has been on it this year. We're not trying to be "educated" by the new arrivals of so called black thinkers in TH-cam.
