sad you never saw Oscar Schimdt because you wouldn´t say the flop king isthe best of S.America! BTW Rolando Blackmon (Panamanian) is the best Latino 2-guard to ever play.
After the second play I can read his lips saying "me apure" " I hurried up" because there was like 5 secs on the clock. This man was a winner and a perfectionist. One of the greatest competitors of all time
I'm exactly a year older than Manu to the day and I feel old as fuck, haha. I'm basically Vince's age and I can't imagine running around as much as he is. Lori Laughlin is also a July 28er along w/ me and Manu. Naughty girl. Still bangable. The butches in the joint will love her.
It has been a true blessing to have watched him play his whole career with the spurs. Got to see him live and loved every sec of it. He would be on my dream team any day. You couldn’t find that talent with the unselfishness and heart in any other player. The end of a golden era of team loyalty/team first mentality.
ginobili despite his weird moves got to manage every aspect of the game at a high level: blocks, score, clutch, fakes, passes, you name it he did it all, the mofoka even took a flying bat down on a game
Also his willingness to sacrifice his body. This dude took charges like no other, and in fact, he once took a charge so hard that one of his testicles got smashed and he ended up having to get a prosthetic. Fuck man, talk about the ultimate team player!
@@kallestoffers4300 the video says game winners. Technically, a defensive stop is a game winner. The title should say game winning field goals or game winning shots.
manus prime (2005-2008) vs harden eurostep: manu passes: manu IQ; manu scoring: harden defense: manu athleticism: harden quickness: manu clutch time: manu
Nope wrong again. Prime was in 2004 led his country to gold and entering his 3rd year nba. (Made all star) . Will never know what kind of stats manu would put up cuz he came off the bench So the spurs would always have Tim or manu on the court
Yeah his prime was that year in 2004. Cuz in summer of 04 he won gold medal and start of nba regular season is in Oct. He made his 1st all star in Feb 05 because of what he did oct04-feb05.
Been a manu fan even already, and is so amazed that after watching those yearly highlights, I discovered that he has lots of buzzer beater or down to the last 2 secs shots of his career, and when you mean lots, there are many.
Oh how i miss my real spurs, everytime i heard my teams name SPURS, DUNCAN, GINOBILI AND PARKER WOULD ALWAYS POP UP IN MY HEAD! THEY WILL BE MISSED DEEPLY!.
He's been underrated throughout his career coz he's coming off the bench but I'm not a Spurs fan and he's a superstar. Clutch shots, leadership, and be the go to guy....if he was on a different team, he would have average 25-30 ppg. I'd say he's a top 10 player coz he's a 2 way player and his IQ is way higher than Kobe. Shaq in his prime and Ginobili could have won a championship too. People will argue about Reggie Miller and Drexler carried their teams but Ginobili could have done that too if he had the chance. Manu is big time come playoff time. IMO, he could have been the James Harden with better defense and more athletic.
Top 5 sg to ever played the game. He destroyed team USA full of superstars in the OLYMPICS. If he can score 29 against USA, no doubt he can avg 30 against every nba teams with 1-3 star players.
Pop and Buford might be the masterminds behind the scenes Duncan and Robinson might be the rock where the foundation was set Parker and the rest could be parts of the soul of the Spurs but the Heart of the Spurs has always been Manu and always will be Manu
What I always found amazing about Manu was that he mostly played 6th man. Duncan would keep the stability through out the game but the argentine was the one who would make things happen. His clutch shooting was just amazing. Probably the greatest six man of his era and together with Oscar Schimdt from Brazil and Jose Ortiz from Puerto Rico, the three greatest players from Latin America.
this three are really fantastic and the best three players from latin america, by manu by far is the best one, such what a player he was, complete as fuc and most important a closer one
@@darkorlightz the funny thing is i dont think LBJ has ever actually blamed a loss on teammates. Usually lebron stans do so and then people annoyed by them project that attitude on Lebron

@Gary Nicks I'm not disagreeing with you. I bought a ticket to the 2002 FIBA championships in Indianapolis to see Yao Ming's first appearance and it was a doubleheader. First game was Spain vs Argentina. Argentina had this dude was playing like MJ. He slashed, created for his teammates, played lockdown D, hit from 3...that guy was Ginobili. I'd love for him to come back to the Spurs as an assistant coach with Timmy.
Manu has 11 game winners while Jordan had 141. Pull your head out out your ass. Jordan has multiple repeats and MVP's. But the Schnoz is better? Put down the crack pipe. Manu isn't a pimple on Jordan's nor Pippen's for that matter.
@Andunus Dick We shouldn't pass on 2000-2002. I know, it was just the Euroleague and the Italian League (it was supercompetitive at that time, though), but he was the undisputed leader of the strong Virtus Bologna, and he was more then exciting. The way he showed leadership despite been young was unforgettable.
The guy was as clutch as any ATG in the game. Ice in his vains. By the way, should have included his defensive stops on the last shot as well. His harden block for example was a game winner.
Manu, the MVP of South America of all time. Brilliant, genious! A brazilian fan.

Even at 40 he is still one of the best closers in the game.
It still blows my mind that he had not one, but 2 game winning shots his last season!

Laker fan here. This guy gave the Lakers a lot of trouble through so many years. This guy deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. Much respected player.
The greatest spurs era is over. The games will never be the same. Going miss Duncan, Parker, and my fave Ginobiliiiiiii!!!!.
The great thing is that they got to play in their primes before the nba became soft and less talented.

What about when he blocked harden?
Didn't make the list on a technicality but I agree it should've been put in
It wasn't an offensive bucket, which is what this video is about probably.
because do you know the difference between a made shot and a block?
