- Ep.178 : William and Sam visit a friend who also has an infant son named Noah. Seoeon and Seojun are visited by their favorite friends including a pair of raccoons. Two months ago, they had met the raccoons when they were small, but now they have grown so big that the twins call them boars. Soeul and Daeul go to the zoo at an amusement park where Bumsoo rides the roller coaster by himself.

I think they always interacted with the kids but it was just a matter of showing us those scenes or not. I do prefer them showing those interactions more these days as I do really enjoy them.

I cried when Seungjae said, "I love you more than anyone else." He is such a unique child indeed.
Can I just say that I love the amount of effort that Jiyong is putting in to connect with Seungjae. It is pretty obvious that their personalities are pretty different, but instead of trying to change him, he wants to understand him. I find that to be so beautiful. You never have to be the perfect parent, you just have to put in effort to connect. I adore seeing them together!
I just watched the ending of their scene and I'm crying now, they're so beautiful!! You can tell that Jiyong just wanted to know if Seungjae loved/liked him. This is so beautiful!!

Daebak is just too cute. I'm so proud of him for being able to run an errand by himself. When Donggook told Daebak that he just needs to walk pass the dog and DDaebak gave him the "really? I can't believe you are doing this to me" look, I died. Then died once again when he saw the dofg in the cage and smiled like, "I'm going to be fine." Where do they find such adorable and polite kids? I always say I don't want to get married and have children, but watching TROS makes want to. I would want children like Daebak, Daeul, Seungjae, and Rohee. They are all so smart and listen well.

I'm disappointed that the twins had another short segment but I understand that they ca really only broadcast what the Lee family is able to tape within a certain time period (sigh.) I've noticed an increase in the, "I miss (previous ROS child/family" posts and if anyone is interested Sarang's mother posted a short video on her Instagram of a recent visit her daughter had with other former cast members. I believe it was Sarang (who looks so pretty), the triplets:D, and sweet Jion:)(SHE LOOKS SO GROWN UP.) I almost missed it myself because of how different she looks now (she's 4 or 5 I believe) but in the video (if ya'll decide to watch it) Jion is the little girl that Daehan is reading to.
Seo twins get short screentime these days compared to other kids. They used to get 2 parts in each episode. ☹️

If you're looking at it from a short-term perspective, yes, it's hard to change how you normally are with kids but in the long-term it'll definitely pay off.

That depends on how the kid grows up. Negative/Positive reinforcement works just as well as each other while it could be detrimental as each other but I think we're missing the point of the "professional lady" because I think she's teaching the dad how to do positive reinforcement for a kid Seungjae's age because I think at that point, it's hard for a kid to grasp what's really "right" from "wrong" and as an adult, we want to explain to the kids the concept while they might not have a full understanding of it. I think he brought her over because he doesn't quite understand his kid or how to really get "through" to him because the dad doesn't feel close to his kid because he stated that he himself feels like he's the least close with his son out of the people in his son's life and she brought up a good point that the dad does kind of "dampen" things and it makes the kid upset and she was teaching the dad in a way to "take himself down to a more childish (not the negative meaning, more like a kid) level" so that Seungjae can understand him and get along better, that's why he brought up the Goblin/Reaper and you can see that Seungjae really does like and love his dad. For you to assume that he'll become disrespectful is just an assumption, now that the dad knows the "know hows" I think he'll be fine. I hope this kind of explains how I think and we can only tell with time if Return of the Superman lasts a long time.

Aw, Jiyong must've been really worried that Seung-jae truly didn't like him. I think before they joined this show his wife really did most of the childcare and Seung-jae was just much closer to her and used to being with her. He loved his dad, but I feel like they didn't know each other very well. Seung-jae loves getting to spend more time with him, but it's an adjustment and when they started he was still more used to being with his mother. His dad is a little lost when it comes to interacting with him and kids really pick up on that stuff too. However, it's clear Seung-jae adores being with his dad too and this little "experiment" truly showed that. He loves both his parents so much and the thought of never seeing his dad again was horrifying to him. Of course he loves his dad too! Besides, he's a really clever kid. Kids will say "I hate you" sometimes out of frustration because they don't realise the impact of that word, but most of the time I think he said it as a joke/to tease him, just like when he smiles at his dad before running to his mum. He's just kidding. Poor Jiyong must've been worried it was actually true!
Aww, poor Daeul! xD I wonder why people are so stubborn about always having kids choose who they "like more", haha! Parents, siblings, friends. Sometimes as a joke, I get it, but it happens so often on this show xD The child gets flustered and whoever doesn't get picked has their feelings hurt. Soeul was only 6 here and Jiyu was only 9, so I get it. Soeul felt hurt that her little brother liked someone else so much and wanted to make sure he still relied on her and loved her more. But when grown-ups keep doing it, I'm like... Why? xD
(Don't take this comment too seriously. I laugh at it a lot of the time and for the most part they don't actually mean it seriously, but tease each other, etc. Most of the time they expect the answer they get. But I do still wonder why they do it sometimes, I must admit!)
