Now this is very interesting that you test some eskate wheels on a normal longboard. Very underrated. I think there are a lot of eskate products the traditional longboard scene can profit from. Thanks for the review!
I just got Karmas and almost got Hokus this week😅😅. But I’ll probably get them later this summer. Heard amazing things though! From what I’ve seen they’re probably a lil faster and grippier than the Ingens but slightly less soft.
@@linpaul karmas are at least as fast as Boa 100s, but with more acceleration. Hokus then shold be even faster, so I have that road for this year "new fast wheel" 😁 Now also Ingens seem nice, but seems that you can only get them directly form US for now...
I’ve been told that travelol has a store in Osaka, where sell Nothing But Free LDP wheels, also I know thanelife ships from Singapore, but I’m not sure about their shipping rates to Japan. Past that I would suggest local skate shops. I’m not the most knowledgeable on the scene and market on that side of the world, but as I find out more I’ll come back to this comment and let you know!!
Nice pick! How you would compare them to Boas 100 and Dad bods? I tried my supersonic with both but still prefer it with 90mm wheels and no risers, like boa hatchlings (that also exhist in white 74a)
I haven’t actually had the chance to try either or those yet but they’re softer than both I believe and most likely faster than Dad bods. And very comparable to Boa 100s in speed from what I’ve been told. A lil softer and less reboundy, so you feel a lil more connected to the pavement.
Uhh not necessarily i think a wider profile makes it more stabile, but the narrower profile makes it more agile and maneuverable. Also it grips better and you’re less likely to kick your wheels
Thanks for the review 👍👍👍 Maybe you know the weight of the wheel ? I'm interested but I want to keep a light cruiser setup EDIT: I found out it's 3.5 pounds for 4wheels
Fast accelerating wheels over 85mm that are also soft. Im not sure that is possible to be honest. Pretty good size contact patch as well and that will also add resistance. Very soft wheels that are also fast. Man you rated these a little too good but I understand you were excited for them so that can make all the difference. Oh and my parents already dont love me. So yeah, nice try.
Haha yeah it does kinda sound like a contradiction. But they are definitely fast, soft and way easier to push than they should be for their size. I’ll probably make a follow up or tier list video later this year with more hindsight on all the wheels I’ve tried. But this one is definitely top 3 favs so far. And ahhh boo, next time.

I agree!! And thanks for watching!!!
*I "do-do" eBoardin and I love the Ingens, nice squish to them, surprised me!*
🤟🏽⚡️🤙🏽⚡️🤟🏽
Great to hear a longboarder's take on these!
Ahahahaha thanks bro!
interesting, soft fast wheels sounds nice!
Might have to get them :D
Haha thanks!!! They’re awesome tbh!
Yo bro nice review! Could you do a review on the Pantheon Hoku wheels specifically how they perform on the supersonic?
I have that setup, its a dream!
@@skate-horizons Really happy to hear that! I think I have a setup in mind for my first LDP board!

Sooooon!
Hi LInpaul! Where can I buy wheels?(Japan)

Ingens are a Lot nicer than Orange Dad Bods, and a little squishier than Blue Dad Bods.
Nice review.....I've just got today the Karmas for my Supersonic so how would they compare..? Raining again so not been out yet 😂
Thanks!! I actually just got those recently too so I’ll let you know! And booo rain😡
@linpaul interesting you put them on inside out.....just tried it on my Karmas and it does make for a slimmer format. Do you find it more stable..?
Uhh not necessarily i think a wider profile makes it more stabile, but the narrower profile makes it more agile and maneuverable. Also it grips better and you’re less likely to kick your wheels
"Do-do" made me laugh, because at first I thought you pulled a roll of TP out of the box.
LMFAOOOO
Can you please explain why you’re flipping an off set cored wheel?
A slimmer board profile, so I don’t kick the wheels, and it tends to grip better. Also it’s just a habit at this point😭😂
Thanks for the review 👍👍👍

pantheon karmas/hokus are pretty much that
