my parents used to make us fake grilled cheese for april fool's day using pound cake and colored frosting but this takes it to the next level. definitely making the hyperrealistic version for them someday!

I dreamed i was making a hyperrealistic cake this morning. I remember it was super hard keeping the shape together to get cake and icing inside. I can't remember what it was supposed to be though, only that it was white with black flecks 😂

A garden hose cake would be cool! (Coiled, of course, in order to fit the cake inside.) I think the texture is neat, and a leaky spot would add interest.

For the snow cone you could also put some of that edible wafer paper on the outside of the chocolate cone to make it feel like paper.

I love how these turned out and how you figured out a way for people to make one of these at home! The grilled cheese looks perfect and the snow one is too cute! Purple rock candy in the middle would look so cool too because you know how the syrup always mixes and it ends up looking like a purple mess at the end 😂

@@abidetolove2537 It would be quicker for you to Google it than for me to type it out, but it's super-easy! Just a super-saturated sugar solution that crystalizes onto a stick you put in it.

I know I am late to comment this, but, I was wondering (since it is almost Christmas) if you could make a hyper realistic cake of a gingerbread house? I love how detailed and amazing your cakes are and I truly think you could pull it off! It may even be easy than making a real gingerbread house (haha they never give us enough frosting)! you should make a cake of rock candy but you can't use actual rock candy unless you make it yourself!
Good idea for the snow cone, but it didn’t quite work perfectly. The rock candy looked dry, not like ice. Maybe spritzing with some syrup or something to give it that wet look?
