Nice review. I have the AZ60 since january, got them at 150€ and I am very happy with them and I plan to enjoy them a lot before I think about upgrading to the next level. Good job, keep like that!!!!
I paid $99 directly from Technics. I like a lot. I have several earbuds. Technics is a very famous brand and is from Matsushita electronics , they made high quality electronics parts & devices. I had Technics gears years ago. Very high tech and quality. They came back a couple of years ago with a High End equipment. This AZ60 has the same brand sound signature. You have to find the correct tip to have all the sound and bass. The app is excellent. Maybe ill be upgrade to the AZ80…
I am new to your channel. You have provided an excellent review and comparisons with the new Technics earbuds. I eagerly await my AZ 80’s to arrive on 11/16/2023. I really enjoy different brand earbuds and this will be my first purchase from the Technics brand. Back in my day, Technics turntables were the bomb. Of course you could go higher quality wise but that is like anything in life. I just returned the Jabra elite 10’s today. They sounded excellent. My ears would not hold any of the 3 sizes that Jabra provided. Of course I could have purchased some Spinfits or Complyfoam tips but I was also disappointed in their ANC. Had I not had the ear tip dilemma, I probably would’ve kept them. So, I dropped a few more dollars and ordered the AZ80’s. Thanks for your honesty and thoroughness in your reviews. Also, I thank everyone else for their comments on your channel. I am psyched about their arrival in 11 days. God bless you, your family and your business.
Hello, there. Wondering if you could please tell me how those earbuds have performed so far. I'm seriously thinking about buying me those Technics. Thanks!
Hey there! Thanks for all your great reviews! I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be really interested in seeing a comparison with the new Jabra Elite 10 😃 Hope that's something we'll be seeing soon! 👍
How is the transparency mode? Is it improved over the az60? Mroe natural? How about your own voice how does that come across? Can u use transparency with 1 bud?
One week later i will get it with a little discount thanks for the local Panasonic costumer service. My silver AZ60 is beautiful, so i will choose same color from the AZ80. 😅
I have used 3 pairs of AZ40 and I really loved them in the begining. But after 3-6 monthes they began to sound very quiet. All of 3pairs! I refunded money but I really loved comfort och sound! I want to try az80,hope that it gonna sound high at least 1 year! How long do you them? Any problems with a sound level?
Did you ever check the volume of the earbuds themselves (not your phone)? I had this issue when I first took delivery of the Technics earbuds, but after changing the volume by long pressing on the left bud (and it being assigned to volume), I've not had any problems since - incl with the original AZ60.
With the latest software versions ,,select best earpiece" option is very necessary to run! For me the largest eartips is the perfect choice on the AZ80. 😊
Thanks, glad you liked it! As for the multipoint, have you enabled the setting in the app? Once you've done that, switch off Bluetooth on the first device and then place the earbuds back into the case, and then take them out to enter pairing mode - should work.
Great review. The kinda comparison I was waiting for, you're the only reviewer thus far that compared the new to the old. Now I know that I'll skip the new models considering that there's a decrease in bass response. I love my bass & sub bass extensions in my headphones m
I got my pair of AZ80. Wooow, definitely a decent upgrade from AZ60! With the factory direct sound profile and disabled ANC simply brilliant, it doesn't require any eq playing. The volume increased a lot, where AZ60 lacks a bit. It has the similar warm signature of A800 headphones, that i eq modified.
@@TotallydubbedHD When i activate the custom setting, the volume decrease a lot to near my AZ60 level, but the direct setting is way louder. I hope that now don't need to remove the protection meshes after a half of year, because on the AZ60 the glue of meshes melted under the warm of pocket, and this caused volume decrease problem on the right bud. :D
LOL, i'm listening various genres on these AZ80, and the most musically tws i've ever heard by far. When the AZ60 has a strong 8,5/10 sound quality, AZ80 is a fully 10/10 for me. The soundstage is the biggest difference, but the bass is more precise too. It has the perfect amount of rumbling in my opinion.
Hey..great video. Can I aks something about az80. Are they good for running and sports? You said that 60m2 fitt better than az80. And what about that complain that some people have about guitar sound, that is not good on them? And do you recomend 60m2 or 80 for running 3 times a week and some use at home for music only....I found good prices, 35$ only between 60m2 and 80...thx a lot
Hello, can you tell me why no one talks about the az70? Im thinking about picking up the az60 because i only need it for music at the gym. would get az80 for the comfort but i cant find any in silver.
I never had an issue with loudness. Just to check, however, did you make sure the earbuds themselves were on max level? I found that in older firmware it wasn't linked with the Bluetooth volume from the system, thus sounding faint even when you cranked up to max on the system. It was a bug that was fixed following their release, which funnily enough was present on the new models. I initially thought they were faulty, until I did a FW update and it solved the issue. Later I realised it was due to the volumes not being linked!
I got the AZ60'S and yes they are definitely top of the line. The devil in me, unfortunately...lol , is really pushing me to get the 80's, which im resisting, but getting weaker each passing day, despite the prohibitive US price. For once I can honestly say I'm torn. 0
the az 60 just got an app update today.......the bass is almost over bearing now... cant hardly even eq it out ! yall let me know what you think when you do the update .....
When anc is on, strange and very annoying noise on left earbud make anc no sense to use it. Try rz-s500w. The same good quality as az60m2 but no noise on anc

Yup, had the same issue. Go to the app's settings, make sure the earbuds have VOL UP/DOWN set to one of the sides/touches, and then increase the volume to max, then you can change the touch configuration to something else (if desired) and adjust the volume thereafter via your phone only.
