Anyway, about the cleaning guns when the boyfriend shows up, the same thing happened to me except her dad was unironically cleaning his guns so that he could go hunting the next day to try out a new silencer he had bought that day. It's an even weirder feeling watching your girlfriend's dad clean his guns when you know he wasn't doing it just because you were coming over.

I don't feel like "Testing" or Intimidating him for approval his ridiculous. As long as they're both above or below legal age of consent(18 Years Old), uses protection and doesn't abuse her. Being overprotective doesn't solve issues.
