Every person you come in contact with has an affect on you. Some good some bad some forgettable. A shift in the energies around us. And no you can't just cut that feeling off. There is always residual effects.
For me love is pain and it is worth it. Just like childbirth, it hurts so bad but so much love comes with it when the child is born. The love is there once you find out you are pregnant. So yeah I agree.
