Hii abhi. I am planning to buy this 3880f filter very soon for my tank. I am just very curious to know how is the real feedback of this filter does it really keep the water clean or does it work like regular power filter. Is it useful to buy this will it keep the water clean

Top filter of the above mentioned size works well for tanks less than 3 feet above which canister is must for crystal clear water

It would not suck the dust from the groud. As. No filter can suck dust from the bottom. But i can clean all water efficiently

Could the combination of ceramic rings, bio balls and activated carbon be right?
Yes you can use it..bio ball is good for bacteria to making colony. it gives them surface area to divide
Activated carbon helps to clean the water and remove smell from it
Ceramic rings and bio balls perform the same function.

I have it, it will be crystal clear for sure if you use a ceramic ring, the result could not be seen in a day but could be visible in a week.

Make sure you dont have drift in it otherwise it will make water yellowish

Yes..if your drift wood is bigger than 1 feet..you have to remove it from your tank.. otherwise it will make your water yellow for more than 5-6 months..or you can boil it for 1 hour at 100°C..it will work a bit

I suggest you to use power head filter.. it comes in budget.. but you can use it

I have guppies in my tank , they are giving birth to other guppies, I have purchased top filter, I am somewhat scared that if the baby guppies go in the filter they may die..
I suggest you to buy back filter. Top filter has high suction capability. They might kill your baby guppies.

Sponge filter will not work in your tank size.. you can go for sobo 2880 and powerhead filter

Friend this is a very wrong placement. First should be your rought media to filter bigger particles second is soft or medium filter and then is then fine filter pad which is for final mechanical filteration. After this the water should pass through the bio media where the beneficial bacteria grows. Please change and see the results. The way you have done all the bio media will get clogged quickly
