I totally agree with your video. After the last couple hundred years of arrogant white's abuse, it's way past time to stop paying lip service to the "sorry" campaign and actively work with aboriginal cultures toward healing and rebuilding. I used to work as a nurse; on admission forms, I had to check boxes concerning Aboriginal or Torres Island descent. There were occasional complaints about these questions, to which I would reply something along the lines of: it being such a small compensation for the genocide of the Aboriginal people that they could avoid it by removing themselves from their country if they were so offended by some questions that wouldn't defer anything from themselves at all. One time, my boss's boss, brought me up on it - in front of everyone there, saying it was not my job to educate people about it. I just told her that that was a large part of the problem in the first place, alongside the the so-called 'superior sentimentality' of white's over 'blacks'. It was really the only subject I've ever had strong feelings about - to the point that I am ashamed to have been born white.
