OH MY GOD. I learn English with those videos!!!!! Definitely, best part of all, the socks saying "Wizadooooooooraaaaaaa!". I still remember they were my favourite characters xDDD
I vaguely remember this being shown to us in English class. But I never forgot the name of the show. Must have been around 1996 or so. Greetings from Spain.
+Pau Martinez Chulvi Hello Pau - I'm interested - where did you see this when you were growing up? Like which country? Wizadora seems to have gone round the globe!
Hey! While I was a child, I saw them on a VHS cassette with a collection of various tutorials and films are made to teach English (I'm foreigner). For now when I watching this I laughing on a common weirdness %). But okay, it's just a simple to easier listen English words (usually when watching various English videos, speech is usually healing like a water and is too hard to understand if you are newbie %) ).
How odd! I'm not great with roman numerals, but I think the date at the end says 1991. So from the extremely simple language and the (I think) German credits, I'd say it looks like Wizadora was originally made as a teaching tool, to help German kids learn English. Then I suppose someone decided to develop it for UK TV later - the CITV Wizadora started in 1992, according to Wikipedia. I think the fish might have the same puppeteer / voice guy.
Omygosh! This was my childhood in Hungary! We learned english from these little videos... I miss this sooo much! 😭
unbelievable! this is how i learned english 15 years ago! gosh, amazing to have it on youtube! thank you sooo much AraVilches!!!
I was born in 1992 and watched it in english classes when I was 07....nostalgic
