40k tabletop vehicles use a smaller scale than infantry models. They would be bigger if you used the same scaling.

I really love Space Marine tanks. So versatile in their chassis, yet so powerful in all their variants. They look ridiculous, but very cool. And rule of cool wins out in 40k.
The repulsor tanks are definitely my favorite with how powerful and devastating they are. Though the humble Rhino and Predator will always hold a special place in my heart.
My favorite fluff bit about the difference between grav-vehicles and impulsor is Chaos Space Marine veteran remembering how to deal with Grav, leaping under the impulsor to place a krak grenade at the bottom, only to be *immediately crushed under it*
Your videos are so clean and well done. Quickly becoming one of my favorite 40k channels
So, a few things, in your video thumbnail, you have a Typhon Heavy Siege Tank labeled as a land raider, I don’t know if you got this confused with an Achilles pattern land raider but they are two different vehicles. You also have the Phobos pattern land raider showcased while showing pictures of the Land Raider Proteus and Spartan Assault Tank. The Titan hunter model is the Land Raider Terminus Ultra. There are some Legion era super heavy tanks still in use in the 41st millennium like the Fellblade, Fellglaive, Falchion, Spartan/Cerberus/Typhon and Mastadon. The Deimos patterns of rhino/predator/vindicator/vindicator laser destroyer are definitely separate from their normal counterparts. Don’t forget the Kratos or Arquitor Bombard, Sabre strike tank or all of the Sicaran tank variants.

First time on this channel and I think this was a great idea for a video. Im interested in tanks and other armoured vehicles, as such, it's often amusing to see them provide inspiration to fiction.(it can also be baffling like some of the vehicles in Fallout for example.)

Great video! Only correction id make is the impulser/gladiator and the repulsers are not made from the same chassis. The repulser is roughly twice the size of the impulser and can carry more than twice as many marines. Besides that. Really nice video with good visuals. Gonna subscribe and wait for the rest of this series.
I’d say the repulsor is more of a landraider, it has 10 transport capacity and can carry gravis and termies

It's kinda sad to see it not here since I do dig the Baneblade and any of its variants.
I know that tank from the unification mod for dawn of war soulstorm, in the mod its only buildable for the imperial fists (I think)

These tanks have either real world or other fantasy genre counterparts.
Razorback -> American M113 Armored Personal Carrier (APC) or a similar APC in use by other nations.
Predator - > Hatay Tank from Indiana Jones Series : It is a British WW1 Mark series tank with a turret.
Talking about Mark series tanks Land Raider is an example of a Mark series tank lookalike (I may wrote it incorrectly).
Vindicator -> German Sturmtiger and it has a bigger armament; 380mm self propelled mortar that fires rocket propelled shells with an ammo capacity of 14.
At least these are the ones that came to my mind, I am not certain for others but Estus may be something like a German Gepard Self Propelled Anti Air System or Soviet ZSU-57-2 Self Propelled Anti Air Gun, I am not certain.
The examples I have given may not suit the role of the tanks mentioned in the video, I thought it would be neat to share this information.
Repulsor is the Primaris vaiant of the Land Raider not the Razorback
Still fairly new to the Warhammer 40k scene, but i am really enjoying these videos More Lore. I would definitely like to watch more videos about any more equipment, vehicles, battleships, etc, and not just in the Space Marine factions but all the other ones as well!

Us oldies will remember White Dwarf's instructions on how to kit bash Whirlwinds & other Rhino variants! I do believe there was a tank killer similar to real world tanks such as the Jagdpanther & Stug III! The Sabre Tank Hunter !

If y remember correctly the space marines have a second super heavy tank the Mastodon.
But it there are only around a dozen left in existence across loyalist and traitor forces.
But a video about it would be real cool because the Mastodon is way stronger than any other tank, y know of, the Space Marines have access to.
Incorrect, the strongest tank they have access to is the Falchion, followed by the Fellblade and Fellglaive.
@@123mrdoom The mastadon can 'tank' all those for a short while, so yes, they had/may have mastodons.
@@tarektechmarine8209 I know there are mastodons still rolling around in the 41st millennium. What I’m saying is power wise, the Mastodon doesn’t have the offensive capability to keep up with the Falchion, Fellblade/Glaive. Toughness is a different characteristic. Although it would be difficult to take two direct Volcano Cannon hits.

When showing the land raider you showed the spartan assualt tank which is not a variant of the land raider. Also primaris grav tanks need a better look.

A very glaring error in the design of these Tanks..,There is no way to have side doors with many of these tank designs without getting in the way of the tracks..I know it's make believe but come on guys.

I'm sorry but I really really don't like the sponsens on the primaris tanks it looks like LEGO! And don't even get me started on the Astraeus. Such a ugly ugly tank somebody was clearly playing too much command and conquer when they thought that up!

40k is set in the far future. We don't know what far future looks like so imaginations is our best option to visualise what exist in that timeline, thus would explain the "unrealistic" and "ridiculous" appearances of people and things.
