That light would make for a great planted tank and would reduce you need for water changes in the future. With the fish you have id go with frogbit its a floating plant (do not place in your 60 gallon gold fish tend to eat them 😅) Another good option would be water Wisteria, Java Fern-Windelov, or and this is my personal favorite Dwarf Sagittaria

Honestly I would get real plants and keep lights on 6 7 hours
I’ve never tried live plants before, any suggestions for a tank this size?
Uhh I enjoy java Fern Amazon sword s repens and java moss lol there's a few more
Also plants don't really need a big tank so if u got a good light u can grow most
