My frogeye was identical apart from the Minilites. A 960cc (0.040" overbore) flat top racing pistons, reground camshaft, camshaft bearing line bored so the cam ran on three bearings, duplex timing gear, lightened flywheel, fully ported, polished and flowed head, balanced crank, high pressure oil pump and Weber sidedraught. I am over 1.8 metres tall and yet this was the most comfortable car that I have driven. Alas, this was fifty years ago (sold for a deposit on my first home) but still brings a smile whenever I see a BRG "bugeye". In Australia we referred to them as "bugeyes".
No comments yet apparently. I think most of us are tongue tied with the huge diversity of kit that Ivan has. I dont care if they are outakes......they put the BBC to shame. Thank you one and all.
i also think like some commenters hear no footage should escape any clips are so valuable , we understand wanting to make a great video but stitching these out takes like this together was a real work of genius and very much appreciated , so you know what to do with the leftovers in future Suzy , well done every one looking forward to the next bit
Another insight into real motoring with an engineer…no fake reverence or talk of “investment potential/matching numbers”…just simple appreciation of cars over a life. I just wish I had been given the keys to a 250F to try a few laps….Oh the times that’s happened to me…😱😱😁😁😁😁
Well Ivan and Suzie, that was quite a snapshot into your very busy "motor enthusiast" lives. Ivan, I don't know where you get the energy mate, I'm 10 years your junior and I get worn out just seeing all the stuff you're doing, good on you, keep on keeping on. Thanks for allowing us to spend time once again with the "Shed Racing" crew.
Please, please make more of these with the out takes.. what a joy.. sunday roast is on ..a cold beer and an insight of what godson behind the scenes.. thanks so much
You even make the outtakes vlog so interesting with your stories Ivan, who else could say,so I just sand blasted this lancia stratos !!!! Can't wait for the next update on the offy racer 😊
I don't suppose the seats taken from the Sprite would be available to buy would they please? I'm building a similar Speedwell Sprite to what your car looked like prior to the bonnet change and the seats you took out would be spot on. No worries if not, worth an ask and keep up the most entertaining videos on TH-cam!
Hi All. Has the "exotic racers" channel hijacked some of your videos ? If you want to report copyright infringements the "Delboy's garage channel hacked" video explains his process well - he reckons it's easy. Keep up the good work - as Mr Grace would say "you've all done very well" 👍
Thank you Suzie for making Ivan available to us and all the generations of motor enthusiasts to come.

I didn’t know you were into autocycles and cyclemotors (I should have guessed!) The Cucciolo is a splendid thing- maybe a video one day?
