Me too! Its almost done, always takes longer than I think....Tamiya is not shake and bake after all!

This is where it pays to have really good references to give you inspiration for a cool and unusual scheme

Exactly, I find I'm lost if I don't have reference photos to go off - I always create a folder of photos before I start a project to get motivated and refer back to them throughout the process...cheers Chris

Its typical new-ish Tamiya armour. Great fit and engineering, adequate detail that needs bumping up a bit if you're that way inclined. Tracks fit really well too - cheers Chris

I'm working on a Panzer tank and on the each connection of the tracks I use chrome marker.

I'll be doing something similar just before I put the tracks on, also on the sprocket and track teeth. Cheers Chris

Thanks - I forgot to film adding a green wash to it - or maybe I did for the next video, can't remember! It gets dirtier....

thanks - just stuff I've learned along the way, still a lot more to learn and refine! Next video is up now to finish it off...

Thanks mate, I thought I could fit it in, but I've had enough of doing monster edits (i.e turning 60 minutes of video into 10-15ish) and recording voiceovers so while this fly-by/step by step type talking to camera is easier, it means a longer video, so I split them up. Cheers Chris

The fact you managed to produce this at all during Easter Break was no mean achievement though. I think the segmented approach you've taken works well, setting up the technique and then reveal the overall effect in any given area works well and honestly if your vids were any longer it would not be a problem, I'm pretty sure we'd continue watching. Maybe don't go 'Rinaldi' on us, I mean the man's a god in our world but hours n hours is difficult to sustain at the end of a working day. That said I will eventually trawl through and buy the gear 🤓. Happy belated Easter.

Thank you for sharing this most interesting video of the painting and chipping techniques. I said it before that is like watching one of the old Masters working. Really enjoyed immensely. Take care, stay safe and cheers mate.

You're very kind EJ, I still feel like I'm stumbling in the dark with this stuff! Cheers Chris
