I have a TOTALLY different take...I don't believe me being spanked or put on restriction made me seeky at all, it made me think to myself I don't want to misbehave bcuz I don't want to get in trouble. I was the kid if my mom & dad said b home by 8pm I was home by 8pm bcuz I wanted to go out aga8n the following weekend. I knew there were consequences to my actions & I was in control of my actions. My dad would say something once & I did it. He didn't have to repeat himself. My POV: Parents today over think, over analyze & now we have all these young adults that can't function in everyday life with discipline or rejection. There's only 1 winner & everyone doesn't get a trophy for participating, WTH?🤦♀️ If we went back to the old days we wouldn't have soooooo many spoiled entitled children/young adults walking around.🤷♀️
