What he said about not taking the venom with her was true but unfortunately enduring that venom was probably what killed her. That is why Tori was speechless. She probably saw how ridiculous was the reason to take the show away from her. Shannen lift her self up costing her her life. Of course his ex also contributed. I have a TOTALLY different take...I don't believe me being spanked or put on restriction made me seeky at all, it made me think to myself I don't want to misbehave bcuz I don't want to get in trouble. I was the kid if my mom & dad said b home by 8pm I was home by 8pm bcuz I wanted to go out aga8n the following weekend. I knew there were consequences to my actions & I was in control of my actions. My dad would say something once & I did it. He didn't have to repeat himself. My POV: Parents today over think, over analyze & now we have all these young adults that can't function in everyday life with discipline or rejection. There's only 1 winner & everyone doesn't get a trophy for participating, WTH?🤦‍♀️ If we went back to the old days we wouldn't have soooooo many spoiled entitled children/young adults walking around.🤷‍♀️

Brian was a true friend,he always had shannens back and i think 🤔 was the only cast member that was not in agreement too have shannen leave the show.i was shocked the other guys wouod vote her off,the show lost alot of interest and substance shannen left.shannen really brought show much pop too the show that it felt like a somewhat didnt show without her and it wasnt as good.

Wow I’ve never been part of such an emotional conversation about someone they lost, someone the world lost and I just want to thank you for inviting us along❤ I want to say David lol but Brian, you seem so loving and compassionate and your voice is so comforting and I almost wonder why love didn’t spark between you and Shan as you call her, it’s obvious you loved and still love her and have so much respect for her and protect her etc…. I grew up watching the show and I want to wish she was still here with us but that is a selfish wish, we need to want what’s best for the person that was suffering and maybe she’s in a beautiful glowing place where she is reborn and brand new and happy as can be and maybe holding Luke Perry’s hand and they are having the best reunion ever. We don’t know what’s next but she does….❤ ps: isn’t it ironic that the trait that gave her a bad reputation so to speak ( her head strong, never back down, look the enemy in the eye and fight is the same personality that she emulated with her disease, everyone then looked up to her for that kick ass head strong determination and she was finally commended for the person she was all along! I grew up watching Shannen as Jenny (LHOTP), Molly (Our House), Brenda Walsh and Prue on Charmed. My mother was a huge fan of hers too. My mother compared the "b*tch* label that was placed on her in the early 90's was the same way that Joan Crawford, Lauren Bacall and Katherine Hepburn were also portrayed as "being difficult on the set" but in fact they were not *b*tches*. They were powerful women that would not compromise their integrity or intelligence because of some weak man/woman or weak men/women. They had to fight back and deserved to be listened to. Shannen Dohertys are a rare find these days. God bless you for sharing the whole podcast and taking the time to shine insight on what a beautiful, special and powerful woman Shannen was.❤
