Definitely agree, this is the best Chess YT channel ever I am watching pretty much all videos since 7 years. I appreciate the depth of Mato analysis still maintaining the videos between 3 to 7 min.
Thank you Mato, for triing to explayn this beautyful game to me - more and more - in so different ways. I love your lecture and hope to get better. Thank you.
Three pawns on the seventh rank!! If Morphy had his way,he would have placed all his pawns on the seventh rank!!! Boden's cavalry, the knight was a mute spectator while morphy's infantry, the pawns simply marched on. Morphy is the goat.
@@Anti-Chess wow so well expressed sir no doubt but I would say (don't mind mho alone)its more like Morphy is more like tahl+spassky or even fischer+karpov
Mato you make me laugh everyday man. I watch you at lunchtime and you have me going. Man I wish you was my neighbor. God bless and keep them coming
Mr. Jelic deserves a million subscribers and more.
Thank you

@@nicomacinta Thank you. Can you make your commen here please: chessschoolsa.wordpress.com/about-mato-jelic/
It so cool when so many pawns managed to reach end of the board.
Just astonishing
Awesome attack, black knight was probably thinking "They all had the fun without me"
According to FISCHER in 1964, Paul Morphy was the most accurate player that ever lived.
Fantastic game and a great analysis!! Very nice, Mato!

Black Knight: "Hey I wanna come join the fun"
Morphy: "No, you just watch."
Black Knight: "Awww.."
LOL
At 4:46 you say Queen to G6 check!
Not possible... can you reload the video with correct move please. Thnx
Fine game thank you. Boden put up a good fight, but those pawns became unstoppable.
La Bordonnais style
4:45 check?
Edit: maybe Mato wants to CHECK us if we understand and follow the game. 😂
Black Knight: "Don't kill me please"
Morhpy: "Ok, I won't kill you, if you just stay there and don't try any funny business"
More Morphy magic. What a player.
2:33 and black bishop d6 pawn is weakness at endgame
What were you doing in 1858?
Morphy played very precisely and his moves connected to each other and never lost a thread. That's why he was the best of his time.
The knight didn't watch his king's execution. He was clearly looking to the left
Nice Checkmate!
Great game
Awesome match
Mato QG6 is not check.
You are rigt

That bishop on b1...
How does Morphy make chess look so easy?
Genius
@@MatoJelic simple reply explains everything in one word
White played a move and black resigned! What did you think of this game?
Look at those three pawns on the seventh rank just stupendous the only man who develops pawns while others develop their pieces that's Morphy for you
Dats my Philidor not Morphy.
Philidor is Karpov (positional) but Morphy is magic + beauty - a more effective version of Tal.

Black knight deserted from his army...
Scotch on the rocks, for sure.
As usual, knight on the rim - better for him.
Sixteenth :D
I'm like fischer in one sense morphy was greatest player who ever lived lad was a genius.
First

Partha must have connection problems today ;)
I was lucky, because I was checking my mail, when the email from Mato arrived
