rs 150 user here. gotta say, i envy the raider carb mainly because of the spare parts availability. You can buy any parts in almost any store at a very low price even the original spares. One more thing, i favor the carburator vs efi, why? because its simplier. efi has more possible failing parts. for example: 02 sensor, fuel pump, air intake sensor, throttle body position sensor, injector and more. needless to say. i love my r.s and i'm not gonna sell or swap it. but if im gonna add one more: its gonna be the raider 150 carb.
I have the carb version and so far the most efficient gas consumption I got is 42kpl. Started with a full thank of gas (4.9L) and traveled 161 km ( mostly flat roads and mild traffic. Speed is mostly 70kph to 80kph. Rider weight is 60kg), went to fill up with full tank of gas after and only gassed up 3.8L, there's more than a liter of gas left but my indicator is already indicating that it's less than 1L. Skl for those who are planning to get the carb version. Ride safe everyone ✌️
Malakas parin sa consumption lods kahit 42kpl. Takbong pogi kana non. 70 to 80. Kung i kukumpara mo sa ibang motor na naka fi nasa 45 to 47kpl pag takbong pogi. Mas ok na talaga ang fi version na raider ngayun (practically). More power and better fuel efficient. Ang kumukuha ng raider carb ngayung panahon un ung mga traditional raider lovers. Pero wala naman masama dun. Never pa akong naka raider kasi mas gusto ko ung sniper 150. Masasabi ko lang talaga d madali iwan ang raider 150 carb kasi ang laki ng influence naibigay sa mga pilipino ang raider since lumabas dito sa pinas.

Excellent video! Sir why don't you make a video debunking certain motorcycle and riding myths? specially about all the new tech in new motorcycles. Riders are shying away from new motorcycle tech because some riders are spreading mis information about fi, led lights, euro 4, etc. They all act like they know their stuff but a little bit of research proves them wrong. I don't have regrets getting this bike, I have the new version (FI) , downside lng talaga is super skinny and maliit itong raider, pero at the long run okay naman, kahit malaki ako. Thanks for this wonderful review.

Great review. I have the 2016 R150 carb version (sold now), I upgraded to get a new color, design and just for some change, only had it for 11 months and loved it, but when getting an oil change the guy at Motortrade mentioned they had a Fi in stock, not even really planning to buy a bike that day I looked it over, and said what the hell and purchased it (knowing i would sell my carb version to pay for it ). I wasn't expecting much, but my hands literally almost came off the handlebars when i left motortrade because i was expecting it to run like the old bike, didn't take long to realize what i have been told that it would be about the same bike, and performance was dead wrong. This is a nice upgrade and happy I got it with motoGP colors, it cost 109k vs 94k I paid for my carb version and I think its well worth the added price. There are a lot of subtle improvements besides the engine performance and gas savings.
Fi has higher performance, looking at the specs, fi got wider valves (24/21) as opposed to the carb (22/19) higher redline limiter (13k),carb only got (12k) Fi's throttle venturii is also bigger (32mm at the coin) vs carbs puny little bs26 Stock vs stock, fi wins big time If Modded though, who knows, the guy with more money to throw at the bike will win

Carburetor vs. Fuel injection. Kung palaging binabaha ang bahay na tinitirahan mo at ang baha ay umaabot ng lampas 3 feet na pwede ng malubog ang motor eh yong di carburetor ang bilhin mo. Noong bumagyo ng kay Ulysses noong 2020. Nalubog ang kotse ang at motor ko. Parehas lubog ang makina sa baha. Mabuti na lang at "Carburetor type" pareho yong kotse ko at motor kaya change oil lang ayos na. Kung Fuel Injected yong kotse ko at motor, naku laking sakit ng ulo. Pero fyi, gumastos din ako sa mekaniko at engine oil para sa kotse at motor at transmission oil para sa kotse ko. BTW, yong kotse ko ay Toyota Corolla 1.6 (small body) model 1990 at yong motor ko ay Suzuki Raider J model 2008. Parehas good running condition pa rin. So iyan ang advantage ng carburetor type engine. ❤️😊 Pwede nyong sabihin na ilipat na ang sasakyan sa mataas na lugar bago bumaha. Tama. Pero kung hindi mo nagawa. Problema. Hindi kasi ako marunong mag drive ng kotse. May driver ako. Madaling araw ng bumaha. Sa motor eh wala akong mapaglipatan ng motor ko. Mataas na pati ang baha kaya hindi na naialis. Kaya ito siguro ang tanong: Fuel Injection vs. Carburetor? Binabaha o hindi binabaha? Kayo ang pumili ng sagot. I really wanted to see the top speed of fi with a body weight. Pero syempre safety first. Bit disappointed to be honest. But hey, you really are a good reviewer when it come to bike. More power and God bless

Carburetor vs. Fuel injection.
Kung palaging binabaha ang bahay na tinitirahan mo at ang baha ay umaabot ng lampas 3 feet na pwede ng malubog ang motor eh yong di carburetor ang bilhin mo.
Noong bumagyo ng kay Ulysses noong 2020. Nalubog ang kotse ang at motor ko. Parehas lubog ang makina sa baha. Mabuti na lang at "Carburetor type" pareho yong kotse ko at motor kaya change oil lang ayos na. Kung Fuel Injected yong kotse ko at motor, naku laking sakit ng ulo. Pero fyi, gumastos din ako sa mekaniko at engine oil para sa kotse at motor at transmission oil para sa kotse ko. BTW, yong kotse ko ay Toyota Corolla 1.6 (small body) model 1990 at yong motor ko ay Suzuki Raider J model 2008. Parehas good running condition pa rin. So iyan ang advantage ng carburetor type engine. ❤️😊
Pwede nyong sabihin na ilipat na ang sasakyan sa mataas na lugar bago bumaha. Tama. Pero kung hindi mo nagawa. Problema.
Hindi kasi ako marunong mag drive ng kotse. May driver ako. Madaling araw ng bumaha. Sa motor eh wala akong mapaglipatan ng motor ko. Mataas na pati ang baha kaya hindi na naialis.
