Hey Gary, the Zx Spectrum will always be special to me and my brother, had some amazing times playing classic games like this. Great days of our youth mate. Thanks for the visit buddy 👍 😊
Ok mate, wow you finished, I couldn't even do that lol, bet that took some doing bud 👌 A classic game me and my brother played along with Jetpac. Great times 👍 😃 Thanks for stopping by pal ✌️😊
Me and my mate Andrew mapped this when it came out. Not easy without infinite lives. We got it published in Crash! magazine. Some other lad called Joel also got a co-credit IIRC. Happy times.
Hey there, that's brilliant you managed to do that map as it's not a easy game, and I remember that map too in Crash 😃 , class mate. As you said, brilliant times to be a kid. Thanks very much for watching pal, Pssst and Jetpac also on my channel if ya interested 👍
Hey Raza, glad you enjoyed the classic Sabre Wulf on the Spectrum here, great memories of this un dude. Cheers for stopping by pal, and enjoy ya weekend 😎 ✌️ 😊
I remember buying that Sold a mil collection,2nd fave ohhhh nice 👌 i ain’t seen this in decades mate so good show, that rave ending had me shaking my trumper 😂🎉gerfy swords
Ok mate, an absolute banger by Ultimate play the game from my childhood bud, keeps me coming back for more mate, and Leia didn't know who had the biggest gerf sword on show, the force knows I bet! 😆 🤣 🥒 Cheers for stopping by, and have a gerthy Bank holding pal 👍 🍻
Hey Jon, hope ya doing ok mate. Me and my brother played this when we first got the Zx spectrum in the early days, just love to go back now and again for nostalgias sake 👍 But Jon, it was definitely 90s rave dance scene I was trying to do 🍻 , and not a disco from the 70s mate 😆 😂. 90s all the way man lol Glad you enjoyed buddy, have a great weekend ✌️ 😊 🍻
The tune!!! I had this too on the speccy. I’ll have to give it a further go as I’m unsure I knew how to properly play it back then. Enjoy the bank hols mate. Hopefully some beers are involved 😄
Hi Ed, oh you should definitely give this a go for nostalgia mate. Cracking little game, find the 4 pieces of the Amulet round the jungle, get passed the guardian and escape the jungle 😀 👍 It's one of those games I always go back too mate, still love the gameplay and graphics after all these yrs. Beers were involved in the speccy rave at the end, well a few 🤣 🍻 Out tonight just for a few chilled beers with my mate, cheers for watching, and have a lush weekend pal ✌️ 😊
IIRC, this was the first Spectrum £10 game and came in a black "deluxe" box. I never finished it either, like you got 3 pieces ONCE. I coudn't understand how low the completed % was when I died having collected 3 lol. Very vibrant Ultimate graphics and slick playability whilst challenging. What blew my mind a few years ago was when I found out that Ulimate had finished Knightlore (Sabre mans supposedly 2nd outing) before they finished his first appearance in Sabre Wulf, but delayed release due to leap in graphics to not impact Wulfs sales.
I had the big box version at first, got lost when we moved house I think. I know knightlore was massive when it was released for being isometric etc, but I preferred Sabre wulf any day lol 👍 Thanks for the visit buddy ✌️ 😊
Hello there, it is for me playing it again too mate 😊 One of my faves from Ultimate here, still looks lovely and colourful for the time too, brings back a lot of great memories playing this with my brother on the old Spectrum 48k rubber keyboard, those were the days 👍 Thanks for the visit buddy ✌️ 😊
Ah man how could I have not recognised the piano tune! Haha one of my fave Speccy games aswell mate, think it was the only big box Ultimate game I owned bitd. Just about to enjoy this vid while I work mate👍
Ok Lee, I've just been to Hexham on a day out with the family today, just got back 😊 Yeah, I thought ya might have got the tune mate lol, a cracking game of my childhood here, me and my brother played it to death back in the day along with Jetpac etc. Hope ya didn't work too hard on a Saturday buddy 🤣 Cheers for watching, and have a great Bank Holiday pal ✌️🍻 😀
Loving those tunes at the end Paul buddy 😃👊 ive never heard of that game bud, love the colour's though and looks a great game, love seeing some cobra there aswel 😍🕹👊
Hey Steve, Sabre Wulf was one of my first games on the spectrum mate, loved it back in the day, great memories of playing it with my brother too, nice colourful graphics Not sure why the speccy rave happened, just something a bit different bud 😆 😂 🍻 Love bit of Cobra too, classic game 👍 Glad you enjoyed Steve. Cheers for watching, enjoy ya Sunday pal ✌️ 😊
Enjoyed that mate. Might do a comparison between Speccy and Beeb at some point as I have both. The Beeb version is pretty great aswell although Sabre Wulf will always be a Speccy game for me. What a game! Have a great weekend mate👍
Hey Lee, yeah, do a comparison of Sabre Wulf mate, wish I had the 64 version of it and I could do one lol. And ya right, it will always be a true speccy game bud 👍 Glad you enjoyed it, not sure where the speccy rave came from mind, think I was just bored or half cut 😆 🤣 Thanks pal ✌️🍺
Nice colours and graphics on this one Paul mate I have never seen it before but looks a nice one to play. That wolf just would not leave you alone at the end mate 🤣 the speccy can churn out some funky tunes and went great with the lights 🙂👍
Ok Glen, great Ultimate game, played this and jetpac all the time when we were kids, still love to have a bash at it now and again even though it's proper hard to play at times 😆 The speccy rave happened after to many beers I think mate 😆 🍺 Cheers for watching, and have a cracking Bank Holiday pal ✌️ 😊 🍻
I remember sabre wolf, had it on the commodore 16 plus 4, it was a great classic, took weeks to complete it and it was full of things telling you that if you reached the end then there was a surprise for you,, yeah, that surprise was a statement telling you to look out for sabre wolf 2 coming out soon,, I felt disappointed at that, and another thing, I never found sabre wolf 2 either, was it ever made or released?
Hello there, Sabre Wulf is a classic I have fond memories playing with my brother back in the day. I only ever found 3 parts of Amulet so never finished it. But yes, Sabre Wulf 2 would've been Knightlore featuring Sabreman again. It's an Isometric game, it was massive back in the day, but I prefer Sabre Wulf. Another game too was Underwurlde, it was ok too 👍 Thanks for stopping by buddy ✌️ 😊
Hi Gary, great game this once you get into it mate, and one of my first speccy games from my childhood 👍 I love the graphics on it too, nice and colourful with good gamplay 😊 Worth a blast mate Thanks for the visit pal ✌️ 😊
Hi John lad, a great game from my early experiences of the Zx spectrum, still love it Hope ya doing areet mate, hope the speccy rave was ok 😆 🤣 Thanks for stopping by pal, enjoy ya weekend dude ✌️ 🍻 😊

Hi Paul, I didn't even know it came out for the Commodore +4, wow! 😃 You should do a review of it mate, as it is a classic on the Zx spectrum 👍 Cheers for watching. and have a great Bank Holiday pal ✌️ 😊
Late and great Sir Clive Sinclair and what an achiever.
