Good breakdown. I really like this archetype and think it plays very nicely with other self discard effects (lightning axe and tortured existence come to mind). It's definitely a bit durdly, but IMO that's what cube is all about.

I'm thinking of incorporating this into the Desert Travel cube I'm building. It's gonna be hard though since I'm not doing any token shenanigans. and I'm still deciding whether or not I should exclude counters as well

Rielle, the Everwise is a great discard payoff in Izzet colors. Containment Construct is a great colorless discard payoff.
Love those cards! Rielle ate a removal spell before doing anything when I drafted it in your cube.

I have a rakdos sacrifice video up, and I just made one about selesnya/bant defenders. I definitely want to do more like that, though.
