I definitely look at other beardsman and either love or hate their beards. I think you can tell if a man takes care of their beard and those who don't give a crap. I started my beard after retiring from the military last November and love it!
😅 Exactly, it feels womanly to have no hair at all on the face. Men are naturally hairy so to me it's only human nature to keep at least 1" of hair on the face 💯
I like both. Clean and bearded. The beard takes patience. I shaved mine off when you did Greg out of curiosity. I tell you most women love a shaved groomed look . I grew my hair out again and see I'm thinning pretty good. . Going back to some form of facial hair . P.s where I live 8/10 men have a beard.
I love clean shave as much as growing a beard ! both are great and I love them both 🔥 and you Greg my friend I'm your subscriber for the past 6 years and I saw almost all of your beard and grooming videos , I said it before and I'll say it again , in my opinion the best beard size you ever had is number 8 guard against the whole beard 🙏🏽
I prefer bearded, I shave once in a while and instantly regret the shave. I’ve done the mustache, goatee, and beardstache; I haven’t tried friendly mutton chops yet, one day. I feel like having a beard out ways any cons.
Great video Greg..everybody for their own in my opinion..I personally prefer some sort of a beard on my face..You adding the experience of the slapped beard gave me a good laugh..
Hey, I'm sure I follow your logic of the panic attack being a threat to your beard. Do you have panic attacks that make you want to shave your beard? I agree having a beard makes you take care of the rest of you though, absolutely correct in my case also.
Hi Greg... I'm on my second go-around in growing a beard (hadn't shaved in 2.5 months), and what I noticed this round, the beard feels and looks healthier and much less itchy due to the fact - in my humble opinion - that I've been eating a lot healthier (cutting a lot of sugars and junk) and exercising much more (swimming and walking/jogging)
My preferred, hands down, bearded. I always loved bearded men (I'm gay), they look more masculine, and as you say Greg, it makes you more distinctive. Now, I HATE the clean shaven look, and this comes from someone who couldn't grow more facial hair than an incomplete mustache and 4 hairs on my chin on their 45 years of life. By the way, they always grew FAST so I have to keep on them almost 3-4 days and shave before the usual "shave those 4 hairs off" comments from my co-workers or my mom come along. Clean shaven was my ONLY option, I never had the option to grow a beard, even more infuriating, my father, who CAN grow a beard, shave it completely because he didn't like it. At most, I've seen him with a goatee for some days. What a waste. It's true, the only maintenance needed was a shaving every 3-4 days, and it made me look younger. Hell, some men prefer it that way, not only women. But I still hated it, I don't care if some people prefer it, I always wanted that bearded look. Hell, a little goatee and I would be HAPPY. But no, even with my father being able to grow a beard, I couldn't. I envy you guys, I really do. Or well, I DID. I have 4 months on a minoxidil treatment, and I was able to finally grow some facial hair. I'm on the stage now that I have a ugly, patchy, wanna be beard, but it's the most I had in my life. I love it and I'm not stopping until the end of the treatment. If this succeeds, I swear I'm gonna learn everything about beard care. People say, learn to love yourself, not having a beard isn't so bad, that not everyone is able to grow a beard, blah, blah, blah... . I'll accept that only at the end of my treatment, until then, I'll keep wishing I get a beard. I don't want a lumberjack beard, even a little goatee would be enough (My dream one is the one just like Greg is sporting on this video, a complete short beard).
Greg, the reason your beard never itched is because you understand beard care. Guys that say it itches, also refuse to try oil due to it being “girly” as they say. I truly enjoy bearding and don’t mind the maintenance. I have a twice a day routine that I’ve stuck to religiously and it shows. I like seeing your different styles and look forward to your next video/update.
It's a double edged sword. While beard oil definitely can help most people's beard the truth is that some people with beard suffer from sebhoric dermatitis (which causes more sebum production - which causes more oil which makes the itch worse.) Dermatitis basically feeds off of oil so adding more oil to it is gonna be a terrible idea. It depends on the person. I have a great beard myself but live in a hot and humid country and my beard in summer gets very itchy. In winter I add oil and it's fine but adding oil to it in the summer is madness. There's no one rule that applies to beardcare as each situation is different.
I love year I went all out and built an 8 foot tall, 4 legged wendigo costume, I got over 200 people wanting photos with me, and I am making the next issue of the local paper
Greg, how do you feel about your beard having gone from black to white? If you look back at your earliest videos of you on youtube from 7 1/2 years ago, where your beard was pretty much all black with a few white hairs, to today being pretty much all white with some black hairs, have you embraced the color? Have you considered dyeing your beard black again to appear younger (even at the length you have it now)? I just turned 47 and my beard has gone from dark brown to 70% white. I have considered dyeing it brown but wasn't sure if the harsh chemicals would hurt my beard hair (dry it out)?
“It gives the slapper less satisfaction..”😂. Well now after watching this I want to grow my beard out again lol. I agree and do like having a beard over clean shaven. Enjoyed the video.
You have the biggest garden ever, lol! You are lucky as you suit clean shaven, stubble and a big beard! I think you look best with less, the big beard experiment (in my opinion!) was too much!

I’ve actually come to like the clean shaven look on you. Clearly a beard looks amazing on you. Hope you decide to keep changing it up going forward.
