@@kittyqveen3249 its not even that, toothless changed yes, but he was still very beautiful and well animated in the first movie, his wings didnt go up and break when he walked and he NEVER once flew with dangling legs. But his model is just so old and poorly done in the first place and his animations are even worse.
Also, another little thing with the flying animations. When he glides, the tips of his wings are pointed downwards, as oppose of the light fury’s wings, which are pointed upwards. This really bothers me, since it looks like his wings are about to break or something. Also, in real life, flying creatures such as birds and bats angle the tips of their wings slightly upward in order to keep their balance and steer properly. I know this may sound a little nit-picky, but its just something i thought i might address ;w;

I must agree with you Silver. Actually all the dragons from the beginning of the game (I mean Zippleback, M. Nightmare, Groncle, D. Nadder and Toothless should have something like "rework". If I were the sod editor I would give Toothless Light Fury's animations, because they are quite realistic
I agree! But if we at least can get an update on Toothless as a start, then there is hope for the game!
Maybe you know this, maybe you don't. The problem with giving Toothless the Light Fury's animations is that you can't just do that. The rigs (what allow the models to be animated) are quite different between the two, so significant edits would have to be made to one or the other before that could work. Have you seen how Toothless flies up? The end of his tail breaks when he does so that he looks like a flopping fish.
The emotion update is cute. My whispering death was sad and i was like "Omggg, what's wrong w/ u buddy???"
Maybe he or she knew that he or she is in a game, and his life and feelings don't matter

It would definedly be amazing to get update for toothless, I have noticed that toothless second half of the tail (the red one) should be attached somehow like have that brown thing, it could be a good detail.

@@Nome1925 The issue is, playing on a pc versus on a cellphone they never can have the same type of graphics.
It will always be lower on phones but they could just do some updates on the mobile and do more of an bigger update including graphics on the pc version.
Just like with other games.
another thing: when he flys up his head and body move almost worm like. i find that really annoying because now your just jumping up and down in the air

That would be awesome, because light fury and night lights looks si beautiful in the game!
I actually quite like his running animation, the little jumps, while being kinda rough, are very cute to me and I enjoy watching Toothless run around.
However, I definitely agree with everything else said in the video. Getting Toothless up to the Light Fury level is essential, I dare say.
Also I noticed if you look at toothless close up his legs are like floating moving that kinda bothers me
They should do a new flying animation. I really hate how he flies and they gave the sandwraith the same flying animation and maybe a few others. Maybe all the old dragons could use a small update. Make them better, considering how long the game has been out.

When I first saw how the lightfury's wings were to the side and folded right and close I was amazed I had wondered if they would do other dragons like that. I really do hope that SOD see's this.
I love how silver takes some time to tell some improvements for the game so others would want to play :3
Oh i totally agree ! He definitely needs an update I'm so glad you commented on this, this might sound nitpicky but the current toothless model is also missing the spines on the back of his feet and seemingly the spines that run alone the side of his tail.
He needs the animation where he does the dance that he did in httyd the hidden world to impress the light fury

I did thought of ppl being able to edit his protestic tail and being able to change the colour and the logo, it would be pretty cool. They should definetly update him! I think they are caring more about creating more and improved dragons than caring actually about some classic dragons who definitely need an update according to the last movie!
The game is also loosing its popularity from my point of view! When I started plaiyng (2016) there was a LOT of people plaiyng it, the server was filled with people, I kinda miss those days...
We should be able to choose between black tail fin, and a LITTLE money to make a new/custom tail fin.

If they can make a new hover animation for Toothless, then they can definitely update him.
they NEED to fix the older dragons! The Nightmares, Typhoomerangs, Squiflers, Grapple grounders, Sweet Deaths, Screaming deaths
SoD team has been releasig alot of good dragons! I just wish they would go back and fix their older dragons. They need love too

and we got exactly the same animations as toothless, but on the sand wraith, so the sand wraith is also pretty outdated

I also wish they would update the flying up animation like why does toothless and every other dragon with the same model need to break their neck to fly up its honestly disgusting and I remember thinking the same think all those years ago.
The wings part made me extremely uncomfortable it made my shoulders hurt and i felt what toothless felt all those years
Over the years since 2013, I think I’ve only found to be annoyed by the sharp wing angles when idle, how the standard and alpha skins don’t have the tone of that seen on Hiccup’s flight armour, and how he seems slightly smaller than he should be. I hope this video has caught the attention of the developers so that the game receives this long overdue update. Now that I think of it, it’s actually astonishing how he’s been here since the very start, back when there was the original game intro and you had to fly the taxi, and yet he’s pretty much exactly the same

So true! I have been wanting hem to do an update for so long, he isn't exactly as flattering as he really could be. I 100 percent agree that they have the capability to fix him and make him look as good as the light fury! They did an amazing job on her, so why did they push aside poor toothless?
Toothless is the iconic dragon of the whole series but he's not been kept in good condition, they keep making new dragons instead of fixing the old ones. Its really annoying because when you fly up his head shakes up and down, it BOTHERS me!
If Toothless needs an update, then so does the Sand Wraith.
Everything is in Httyd 3 but his design is still in httyd 1 😔

Thank you so much for addressing these issues! This may be a bit of a minor issue but I’d also like for there to be an updated saddle that’s similar to Toothless’ saddle from the second or third movie, and have our avatar sit correctly in it (such as with our feet in the stirrups).
Adding to Toothless and other dragons, we need a turning animation
Theres also some dragons like the sand wraith that use the same animation toothless has. They could update them as well.

i really miss playing this game, i remember when i had a membership account with many dragons and i took a break from the game and lost my account since there was a thing with 60 days remembering your account and i couldn't remember the name or my password and i still miss that account to this day

I love your videos, and I play school of dragons as well and I just wanted to say real fast that. The light fury has a better body shape than toothless does, if you guys ever realized her wings are by her side and her body shape is up-to-date. I got many updates and still nothing has happened with toothless’s wings
I've thought this for a long time as well. I've watched the movies and series, Toothless wings are rounder like the Lightfury but not as smooth rounds. And his wings flap motions. The front joint bone dives forwards and the looser skin followed like a fan. I have to much time, don't mind me.😊
DRAGONS THAT NEED UPDATE:
- dragons with the same animation and similar to that of BANGUELA - (NEW AND MORE FLUID ANIMATIONS)
- showy nightmare and typhoon merangue- (HELP 0_0)

- cut off the storm - in the game there is a little disgust fleeting but in the movie he is graceful both flying with 2 pairs of wings and ta with 1 pair of wings, I love his scenes when he is only with 1 pair of wings.
- Rain cut - in the middle of this flight this dragon is paralyzed as if it had taken a sting from a fast sting
HE GOT A REMODEL
The thing about sod is that they dont have mail ✉ . For compensation of update, issues etc
I first started playing in 2015. I was *SO* happy when I was able to buy membership for the first time! I loved the way that Toothless looked and thought that his animations were cool and I liked well, everything about him at the time.
Now, still being a SoD player, I find that Toothless and many of the dragons need work/an update. I know the SoD creators have the capibility to make really good and cool looking dragons.
The ideas for customising Toothless’ tail fin I find really cool!
The SoD creators need to work on:
•Prices, everything is *SO EXPENSIVE* to buy and pay for, it’s silly!
•Animations, some are getting really old and kinda boring
•The dragons looks/body features, the SoD creators need to do a ’sit down and work on the SoD dragons eg: giving them updates ect’
•The glitches! The SoD creators REALLY need to work on the glitches in the game
I still enjoy playing the game but it really does need working on!

They should update and like the whole game like the fizkis they should like actully care about the game
I also realize that there’s a new dragons coming on and they have up-to-date body shape everything is new even the wings from the previous dragons have their wings by their side but for some reason they’re not updating toothless’s wings, I agree with making toothless up-to-date because he really needs it I have toothless and the light Siri and I put them together and it’s just really sad how toothless looks worn out and the light fury looks a lot better than him. Poor guy😪
Seeing little updates like this to the game make me happy, but my goodness, this game is long overdue for a serious overhaul. :(

Thank you for your honest opinion! I am agreeing with you with every detail you told. Especially the idea with the tail fins. I was also thinking that they could put the different fins into the game.

Also the fireworm queen should be updated, she would be beautiful and there's a lot of dragons with the old toothless animation that could be re-animated 🙌🏼, i prefer this than new weird hybrid dragons 🤔

Silver I know this will be a lot of reading to you but hear me out I think it's time for SoD to have a recode....yep it's been so long and the audience want new and improved stuff we cant be just living on the same thing for decades...and I really mean it if this game gets a recode and is made by Unreal Engine 4 or something stunning like that it would be insane to play it please just think about it and how cool it would be to have a fresh new SoD just think of how many new mechanics we could be introduced to such as "The manual Mechanical Tail control system" or for short the "mmtcs" this system will only be working if you have the tail with the Leg control pedal (aka every single old tail for toothless before the new one in httyd3 except for the "the nightfury's gift" tail) the system basically is a system where you control the tail as a player you would be able to open and close the tail change its angle etc just like hiccup does with toothless's tail in the first 2 movies anyways that's just a concept idea for some of the many ideas I have for this game I mean seriously a recode is going to bring MILLIONS of players to SoD but that's only if the creators would take the right step....so yeah just please please I'm begging you think about it in your head and if you have any way on earth to make my word reach out to the devs that would be one heck of a life change so please hear me out thank you for reading

Can we also talk about the Monstrous Nightmares and Stormcutters flying wing animations? They’re rough. Compared to the way my Skrill flies, it’s just bad and not smooth.

Dreadfall update is lot of bugs and glitches. Can u make a video for sod team to clear all these bugs???? It's been 4 weeks but the glitches in racing, dragon tactics and sometimes in daily quests are not at all cleared. Even the chat is also not working. This should be taken serious.
