I like how this sounds sorrowful, but lighthearted, as Bad is fulfilling what the Egg has requested of him, and feels like he's protecting the server. The destruction is kept from his sight by the Egg's manipulations, so he sees it as good. It's like he's singing a song with a beautiful melody, but ignoring the lyrics coming from his lips.

@@vegetableALT ajdfkjn yeah honestly it took a bunch of takes before I was satisfied with it. It was a really useful learning experience though, cause i spent a lot more time actually doing warmups and trying to figure out a better singing technique than just forcing the note out blindly :00

Amazing song, it puts beautifull images in your head :D

I was confused on whose perspective this was supposed to be from at the start, Bad thoroughly had me fooled. :') 0:48 I love that muted trumpet that comes in after Bscotch singing _so_ much. 2:30 And the violins and eventual buildup that comes with the big reveal is amazing!
Just wanted to say I was playing this while doing the dishes and my mom came in and commented she really liked your voice. She was also impressed with the instrumentation, especially when I said the flugelhorn was played by a real person. :D Definitely one of the most beautifully tragic songs you've made.
