V8Jagnut yeh thats pretty expensive ;(, I would offer up Blue but I think Betty would feel lonely if I did that :p
I can get a Jeep Wrangler for 1/4 that price anyway :p

Aussie50 mmm someone will pay that for it because its a real clean body and the B diesel is rather rare now. i would rather a toyota over a wrangler. i like the old jeeps tho.

So, I have a question about these old diesels. How do you start them? In a modern day pickup, (in my case Chevy Silverado 2500HD) You just turn the key one click until you see the little squiggle light (glow plug, but looks more like a pigs tail) go out, then you turn they key and your golden. Is the glow plug button the button above the ignition?

on the one you turn the key back past lock to glow it the go forward to get to acc and ign and start.

Oh, so its not much more different than a modern day? Apart from sounding better, and a carbueretor?

SlickNicklol lol. diesels not have carby. but yes works the same. direct injection diesels not need glow plugs.

One of these on ebay uk recently sold for the silly side of £10,000, which at a rough guess would be about $18,000 Aus

It is easy to find one in Australia in average running condition ? It at least in good enough condition to start a restoration project?
