Oh wow. I love this guy. Many blessings and success to you on your career. Really miss you thank you for giving us such great music. Bring it back to the stage. All of you.🙏🏽👑🕊️💜🌹
Hey I just found some of your video posts looking for Tony Toni Tone live footage and discovered your channel, thanks for posting these classic performances and interviews, D'Wayne played this song on tv a couple of times and he did totally different arrangements of the song, his contributions to music are grossly underappreciated, I have a cd I put together around this time of all of their live performances on tv but I have never seen his appearance on Later, I have the Lucy Pearl one, I have a ton of this stuff on vhs tapes, but some I didn't have anymore, like the Arsenio Hall one you posted Thank You 🔥🔥🔥 ✔💯💪🏾✊🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I really appreciate that video of Your 1st band 07 and the great story you told behind it as well, I can totally relate, without all the Super Stars those 🤣😂, just local celebrities in my case✔💯💪🏾✊🏽✌🏾🙏🏽
I'm glad you appreciate the footage. I discovered TTT as a sophomore in highschool. They were the first group I discovered on my own and wasn't handed down to me because I'm the youngest. I tell people they're my Beatles because I grew up with them. I've met Raphael and D'wayne a couple times and the tour this year was a great escape and one of the best times I've had at a live show.
Cool cool interview of Mr. D'Wayne Wiggins himself. He is so underrated in his own outside of Tony Toni Toné while he is a really good singer. I want to ask you something(if you take requests, if you don't I apologize for asking you). Do you have any more rare R&B singer interviews and performances? If you do, do you have both the interviews and performances of the following singers from the following years: 1999: Marc Nelson 2000: Gerald Levert, LV(singer of Gangsta's Paradise), and Kandi Burruss Let me know if you happen to have any of those artists in your catalog. Take care and have a great day today
Knowing D'Wayne, it is mostly likely someone he has mad love and respect for and mostly likely a fellow artist. This would be his way of "honoring" them and is a HUGE deal for him. Interesting trivia. The seafoam green guitar he is playing is called "his weapon" and this is the one he used when he wrote the song "Whatever You Want". :-)
I bought that CD without knowing how good it was and it became a favorite of mine. Good music DWiggins!
