I've just finished watching all your blackpink related reactions and I love your channel! Blackpink is my favorite girl group and they are without a doubt the most successful girl group of this decade. I'm looking forward to you discovering them more. You definititely gained a new subscriber. Since I'm already writing a comment, I need to recommend my second favorite group to you and hope that you'll react to them. They are called (G)I-DLE and they are also a kpop girl group, but they stand out. What makes (G)I-DLE special is that they are self-produced. All girl groups in Korea have a producer team around them that makes their music. Korea is still a misogynistic country, so female producers are rare and not wanted. (G)I-DLE fought that stereotype. Members Soyeon, Minnie and Yuqi all write, compose and produce music for the group with Soyeon being their leader and main producer. She's not only that, but also she plans their albums from the concept to the finished product, is involved in styling, music video ideas and directing and even stage design for their concerts. She's their executive producer, makes all important decisions and besides all of that she's also the fastest and probably best female rapper in the kpop industry. All the members are not only incredible talented, but also super likeable and they seem genuinely like family. Besides that their discography is probably one of the most versatile discographies I've ever heard and they can pull of every genre. On top of all of that they push boundaries. Besides them being self-produced their songs and image scream female empowerment and they are not afraid to release stuff that will provoke the general public in South Korea. I think I wrote way too much. There is way more to tell, but for a first introduction that is more than enough I guess. Here's a list of their four most popular songs (based on streams/views and in order): Allergy + Queencard (2023) (Queencard is their biggest hit ever, but the video is the second part to their video for their song Allergy, so I would check out Allergy first to fully understand the lyrics, message and video for Queencard. Love both songs), Tomboy (2022), Nxde (2022), Oh My God (2020). They debuted in 2018 and are still active, so that's really just the tip of the iceberg and there are way more amazing songs.
