Expansion is not what blew out your plug. If the motor isn't running there is no oil in the oil tank. If you check it while not running you think its low. When you then add oil, you have too much oil in the engine. Must check oil while runiing.

Thank you! I had a brain farm and the bike had been sitting for over a month and I did just that checked the oil and added a quart as if it was low without starting it and warming the bike up first.

hey thanks for the video,,, question for ya my pins wont grab on and thread in anymore ,,, instructions say they need to “click “ in ,, should i give em a slight wack with a hammer lightly to seat em first ? never run into the=is before,

Sorry, I didn't see yor message till now and I'm sure you have already taken care of this issue. However no I wouldn't ever force anything especially on the brakes as you could damage the threads if everything is lined up all should go back together with ease. But as you see on the video I get a little force full but would never use a hammer to try to get a bolt started on the brake system. I hope you have got your issue solved! Again sorry for the delayed reply! Thanks for watching.

What size is the small wrench you used to remove the pad’s?

Dude. Channel locks on the caliper pistons is about the worst thing ever.

How so I have never had an issue, I would have used a small c clamp but didn't have one at the time. But now I actually have a brake caliper tool. But neve had an issue using what tools worked being these calipers don't have a lot of pressure on them.

Thanks for not showing how to put them on. How about next time not speeding up your video while you do the work.

Your right, I didn't even realize I sped up the video on the part of putting the pads in place sorry I'll go back and re-edit that part. Sorry! However on my video ( save $$$ on replacing a rear tire) I do show replacing brake pads. And to skip to just that part it is at 40:23 to 44:00. And be a little warned my camera angle isn't the greatest but you can still see for the most part what I'm doing. And I am a amateur at these videos I don't always get the perfect angle. But thanks for watching and also pointing out my video mistake!
