While I will agree that Defending Jacob is a guilty pleasure series so far, there are SO many unrealistic things going on here. First of all, I like Chris Evans and will watch anything this man is in, but come on, in what world would a District Attorney look like a FREAKING GREEK GOD? Evans is so miscast here. He's far too good-looking and far too young-looking to play a veteran District Attorney and a father of a 15 year old. Who's idea was it to cast him and actually think he'd be believable? Evans' youthful handsomeness is too distracting and it's laughable to think the creators would believe he can play just a generic father and lawyer. And I don't know if it's intentional or not, but Jaeden Martell's facial expressions and actions are making it so obvious to the viewer that he's a psycho. First episode in and I feel right away he's got to be the killer. He's so freaky. And Laurie is bugging me. She cares more about not being part of her friend's social circle anymore, than she does her son. And how did Andy get hired as a reputable District Attorney without anyone not finding out about his past with his murderous father? Doesn't anyone do background checks anymore?
I messed with H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) to really lighten up my hair color. But when all I got were negative inquiries from girls in my school I let go of the idea. Of course I was only 15 back then. Jaeden, please act your age and lose that terrible blonde hair. Please.
