I watched this film last night for the first time and really enjoyed it. Kudos to these young actors for delivering excellent performances in the film. The kickass music reminded me of my first foray in listening to Metallica in my late teenage years.
Just watched this truly epic touching relatable kick ass movie and I don’t think I’ve cried happy tears while watching a movie in a very long time. I relate to Kevin in more than one way. As a very shy, awkward, timid kid growing up kind knowing how to play the drums but when my brother asked me to be in his metal band, I hit the books similar to this kid and haves loved every bit of Heavy Metal since! 🤘🏻😆🤘🏻We actually got 2nd in our first battle of the bands too! So crazy! 😂 Man I’m going through a rough depression right now, and watching this for the first time just now brought back soooooooo many memories of the happiest time of my life. I needed this. Bravo to the cast and crew! 👏🏻
Stellar cast all the great young talent I see them all being around awhile. I loved the movie. All the music I grew up with in high school. Haha some things never change 😅 🎵🎵🤟🤟
me too. I loved how Emily had her melt-down and screamed at her stupid HS band teacher, etc. I was skeptical at first. I thought it was going to be a lame "School of Rock" copycat movie. But this one definitely rocked!
A miserable movie! I haven't seen a movie like this indisposing in a long time. Examples of aggressive, arrogant people. What is this aberration? All behaviors are abnormal. The film promotes abnormally ill behavior. No one should behave like that. Those faces are horrible. A very bad example. That shouldn't be seen.
This movie was a heavy dose of nostalgia with some totally kickass music. I'll be honest, I was pretty close to tearin' up a couple times.
I dig this movie... totally reminded me when I was in high school and my heavy metal friends. This kids did a great job!
Loved this movie! Great chemistry with all three leads. Huge shout out to Isis & her stage presence as an actor & a musician!!
