  • The TT Podcast is back on the Isle of Man, this time to take in the action from the Manx Grand Prix in August.
Chris used his time to catch up with some stars of the TT and was joined by a very special co-host, Lee Johnston.
Before sitting down with their first guest, Lee talked of his traumatic year following a shocking accident at the North West 200 in May. He opened up about his limited memory of the crash and how he has been recovering physically since; his experience watching TT 2023 from afar; and what the future looks like for him when his body fully recovers.
Lee will sit alongside Chris as co-host for the upcoming episodes of the TT Podcast.

Given the severity of his injuries, I'm amazed at how quickly Lee is bouncing back. More power to him!

Men need to talk more about this stuff it can really help. The times I needed to open up I found friends and family incredibly supportive. Reach out fellas don’t suffer in silence. Big big shout out to the NHS for doing an incredible job, the real unsung heroes (I can’t thank them enough).

as an old guy that likes bikes but not a fanatic race fan, I have to say Lee is the one guy I would love to meet, I think he has helped more people than he realises, with his fantastic videos, whishing all the very best

I am not sure Lee knows how many folk he helps with his honesty and openness but I can safely say I 100% respect him as a human, a family man and a bike racer. What a truly awesome bloke Big Respect ✊🏍💨

Great to see Lee looking so much better, but it’s a long road for him, his body will heal but it’s the mind that really takes a beating and hopefully with help he will be back to where he was before the crash. GOOD LUCK NEIL

  • @michaelamiss1828

Great interview. Think Lee is handling his issues very well. It’s tough and scary what happened but he has some solid people around him and his attitude is 100%. It’s a long road back but best wishes Lee and family. 🇦🇺
