    In a way, the giant sequoia’s lifecycle reminds me of the Pheonix. They are born of fire as stated in the video. The saplings emerging signal (the phoenix’s) rebirth. So again, I think giant sequoias are like phoenixes of the plant world.

    testing by fire...“I will heal their waywardness.
    I will love them lavishly. My anger is played out.
    I will make a fresh start with Israel.
    He’ll burst into bloom like a crocus in the spring.
    He’ll put down deep oak tree roots,
    he’ll become a forest of oaks!
    He’ll become splendid-like a giant SEQUOIA,
    his fragrance like a grove of cedars!
    Those who live near him will be blessed by him,
    be blessed and prosper like golden grain.
    Everyone will be talking about them,
    spreading their fame as the vintage children of God.
    Ephraim is finished with gods that are no-gods.

    Reina-Valera Antigua
    11 Si alguno habla, hable conforme á las palabras de Dios; si alguno ministra, ministre conforme á la virtud que Dios suministra: para que en todas cosas sea Dios glorificado por Jesucristo, al cual es gloria é imperio para siempre jamás. Amén.
    12 Carísimos, no os maravilléis cuando sois examinados por fuego, lo cual se hace para vuestra prueba, como si alguna cosa peregrina os aconteciese;

      Hmm, they need fire to reproduce? Before I heard this I grew 20 seedlings in rich forest humus. They didn't need excessive heat to germinate either. The coast of Washington sea level proves a great place for them to maintain there offspring. We are down to a small number of old growth groves. People, should we set fire to them to see if they will reproduce. Use your senses more please this is brainwashing.
