    Had a flat tire on TX 118 about 30 miles North of Terlingua, TX, 50 miles South of Alpine. If you know the area there’s absolutely nothing out there and we had no cell service. Unhooked the Jeep Wrangler (2 door, automatic and we removed the backseat) and drove back to Terlingua to call roadside service. Game changer and life saver to tow if you ask me.

    In regards to the step, we met a couple at the Texoma Travelers rally that had a spa step that fit over the metal step. It turns it into two steps instead of one so much easier to get in and out. The spa steps have texture because they are made to put next to a hot tub. No slipping! We got one and it’s made a huge difference. We just put it inside the LTV when we travel and it’s the first thing to go out when we stop.

    Brandon, it was good to see you again. I downloaded the video and listened to it like a podcast. I paused when Lori talked about MAGA pots? Huh! Then I saw the helpful links to Magma pots. The links are quite helpful. I've added Magma pots to my Amazon Saved List. Great insight from Lori!

      @@Pagosa Enjoying having Davy Crockett Natl. Forrest almost to ourselves. They had torrential rains the week before we arrived and you could see the results of rushing water through some areas. Nine AM on 5/15/24 and we're the only RV in sight. Still only 75*F here under 150' pine trees. It got down to 61*F overnight.

    The Unity is superb: truly impressive. I have been inside one. However, the 6'5" interior ceiling height is a deal breaker for me at 6'4". I would think it would be rather confining for anyone who is over 6'1" in height. At this price point, you want to feel like the space is cavernous and not a crawl space. That 6'5" interior ceiling height seems like an odd decision by LTV since other brands use the same Mercedes chassis, and they offer a 6'8" interior height. I guess sales are good enough not to warrant the pursuit of a taller client base.

    • @Pagosa
      @Pagosa  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They actually don't use the Sprinter chassis that has a height like a van. Their house is their own build on a cutaway chassis, meaning they buy the cab and and empty chassis. Not sure why the height limit. I can say at 6'2" it feels roomy enough for me, but at 6'4" it could def be something to think about. Not sure what height other brands have.

    • @Tnapvrvideo
      @Tnapvrvideo 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for the chassis clarification. I wish they would add 2" to 3" to the interior ceiling height.

    My wife and I are exploring an LTV as a possibility as we move closer to retirement. Can the LTV, either the Wonder or Unity, flat tow a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited?
    I see them all the time behind larger motor homes but was not sure if a Jeep was too heavy. Any thoughts or insight in this?

    • @Pagosa
      @Pagosa  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’ve got some videos about towing that discusses the weights. The Unity will have about a 4000 pound max you can tow, which prob is a two door stripped down jeep.

    • @scottg9208
      @scottg9208 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Pagosa Thanks, Brandon. That is pretty much what I was thinking as well. When you see the Jeep Wrangler’s being flat towed, it is always behind a larger class A or larger class C motorhome.
      I appreciate your insight.

      @@scottg9208 Glad to help! Ford Maverick and the Chevy Blazer are two popular toads for the sprinter based RVs.
