May of 22 they started hitting the dealerships in Bowling Green Kentucky. I happen to find a cherry red tint coated LT. it’s got all the good stuff like heated steering wheel the new infotainment center really nice dash, other nice accents without the enormous price of the L T Z. I added a fold up Tonneau cover and running boards and a plastic mesh type bed floor cover Very happy with it. Just turned 10,000 miles.
I Loved The LTZ In My Opinion, Because It Has The Optional Power Sunroof,Heated/Ventilated Seats With Leather,Chrome Door Handles,Pattle Shifters,Good Heated Steering Wheel, Spray-In Bedliner & The Awesome 20 Inch Chrome Rims, Which Is For Heavy Towing.
It's My Personal Favorite Trim,Because Of The Good Chrome Bumper & The Great Multi-Flex Tailgate Which You Can Option It When Ordering In A Chevrolet Silverado Series.
Weirdly enough I have a 2023 LT Z71 and trailer package and it’s the midnight edition or whatever they call it the blackout edition and I get most of the stuff from the LTZ. The only thing I’m missing is the blindside assist and the automatic running boards which I just had it added afterwards I’ve got the twin tube shocks 5.3 V8 ecotech engine I’ve got the dual exhaust And all the other fancy features from the LTZ. So I’m confused but mine just says LT on the back? I’ve even got the spray in bedliner rhino shield heated seats, heated steering wheel heated mirrors as well as the automatic sliding rear mirror
I've been a chevy silverado owner all my life. Just drove the new LT last week. Nice truck. My only complaint is 63K for a truck and the front passenger seat is still manually adjust. Have to jump up to the LTZ to get the power seat for passenger. SMH. Looks like I'll be biting off 70K for the new truck. LOL.
As previously stated, Heads Up is part of the technology package, has nothing to do with Z71. And Work Truck is the Base Level Silverado, but LT is the lowest level to get the new interior
@@VagabondBuilds awesome! Thank you! I got the LT as a gift but i dont like the chrome..so i just wanted to see if i could swap parts from different models like the custom or vice versa
Why do I get the feeling your trying to get someone to buy the LTZ? I have the LT! It is by far the best truck I have ever owned! I have added running boards and a cover for the bed! I will say that the LT should have sensors in the mirror and bumpers at the very least!
We just sort of fell into a black '23 LT this past August......It just sort of happened, we were just starting to look at what was out there and next thing we knew was that we were driving home in one while ours heads were still spinning......Our salesman had serious game? Ours had some dealer add-ons already on it. It came with the trailering package, sliding rear window w/ defrost (not sure if all rears have defrost), and the All Windows Down button next to the others below the infotainment screen. It has 17" rims with Grabber all-seasons on it....I hate these wheels and tires, but that can be fixed soon. I like that the LT is not all chromed out like the LTZ is. The Lt maybe still be a little to chrome shiny for my tastes, but it's not too bad. We have used our truck to tow our 6000# loaded TT and it has been great! Very comfy ride towing or not. We put our purchase points towards GM's premium floor liners, replacing those nice, but dinky, rubber mats. The premium liners are an absolute must for anyone that has one of these LT Silverados, or any trim level that may not have come with them. This LTZ shown here has them. Front and rear liner sets are cheaper than Weathertechs attempt at the same thing, and these actually stay put. I'm not a big fan of leather seats, so the LT seats work out great for me. I do like the cockpit feel that the the LTZ front seats give, but the LT bench is okay too, with it's flip up console. One thing that the vid left out is that when the center console is flipped up out of the way to reveal the center seat in the bench, there is another storage compartment under the center seat as well. Also, don't forget to push the disguised rectangular-ish button under the right side vent next to the info screen.....
To bad the front of them looks like shit compared to the last gen. I have a 2016 and Would like to maybe trade it in while its still worth a few bucks but I don't like the way the 2019+ trucks look from the outside. The interior on the other hand looks great on the newer models. I can wait.
@@VagabondBuilds Fair point. I don't mean to shit on people with the newer trucks. They just don't look right to me. WTF do I know? That being said? I'm looking forward to a redesign.
One of them comes with a bench in the front(6seater) and the other one comes with captain chairs. Which one do you like more?❤
Can you get an ltz with the split bench? (6 seater)

Yea, I’m with you on that. More options but of coarse their is more on the price tag.
I bought the LTZ

@@brandonmcfarland5200 Yes I ordered every one of those options except the 6,2 liter engine.
I’ve got a LT all star Z71 with a 5.3 that comes with practically everything that LTZ does at a LT price.
Good thinking honestly haha! I was thinking that same thing on one of our reviews.
How many cylinders is the 2.7L
4 cylinder

Maybe your MSRP sticker can help to see if you have an added package to your LT?

Do they still sell them with the 4.3l v6? I have a 2014 LT with 162,000miles and love it.
No. You have four options.
2.7 turbo 4 cylinder
5.3 eco tec v8
6.2 v8
3.0 diesel
@@VagabondBuilds that's a real shame could you tell me why they stopped making them? I'm only curious they are great engines.

@@VagabondBuilds yeah definitely. I got a refreshed 22LTZ last year and wanted to see if there were any differences in the 23s
I been debating between the LT and the LTZ
Not an easy choice
Are these trucks the same size?
Yes
@@VagabondBuilds awesome! Thank you! I got the LT as a gift but i dont like the chrome..so i just wanted to see if i could swap parts from different models like the custom or vice versa
The height of both seems to be the same. I thought the z71 had a 2" lift
It is higher.

I’m not trying to get anyone to buy. I am not a salesman for no dealership but I will say I just think the LTZ is a nicer package that’s all.
@@VagabondBuilds I agree it is nicer package but it’s a lot more money also than the LT for just a few extra perks!
Is LT the lowest trim on Silverado?
Yes.
But remember you can add different options on the LT that would make it better all around.
Custom is between work truck and LT
No it’s base model Chevy
Dude. The lt is not the lowest level trim. The work truck followed by the custom and then the lt. The lt is a mid level trim.
If you get the Ltz 2 package you get the sunroof
Nice! Was the video helpful at all?
I have an LT and I don’t have the tow hooks
Interesting. These new cars are coming with so many different add ons now it’s crazy.

I like the comfort, looks, and the power of a chevy silverado in every way but I'm concern with the resale value. I'm sticking with the Toyota Tundra.
