I’m not a Muslim. I grew up Christian. As an adult, I don’t know what I am. But with the geopolitical events happening in the world today, I am in complete awe of the faith the people of Palestine possess. The motivation to face every day in spite of what they’re currently experiencing is inspiring. Again, I’m not Muslim but I want to partake as an act of solidarity. If that’s not respectful please do not hesitate to tell me. I would never want to add insult to injury.
Brother, you can fast regardless of your religion! :) I have heard there are people who even fast with Muslims in Ramadan to practice discipline, focus and for other health benefits. Do more research and give it a try! May God bless you and ease all your affairs
You can definitely join! Not disrespectful at all. Thank you for checking! Hope you have a beautiful experience of Ramadan! May it be a month of peace and contentment for you and all of us.
I’m in the same boat as you. Not sure what I am anymore. But the last 4 months changed me as a person. This will be my first Ramadan. All success to you ☺️
I'm not a Muslim but I recently took an interest in Islam. This year is going to be the first time I try Ramadan, so this video is so helpful. Thank you so much, I'm honestly really looking forward to it 😊🙌

I'm not Muslim, but God Wiling, I'm going to try Ramadan for the first time this year. I have some struggles that I know God will help with, and I feel inspired to seek help through Ramadan. To muslim people, I pray for Palestine, and I wish you a good Ramadan. May God be with us all and help bring peace to others.

But it's in my spirit to fast and participate in Ramadan this yr. I'm very excited. This was a great video
Thank you so so much!! I'm Catholic but I have a great respect for Islam and all of my friends who are of the faith. I may work in a muslim country soon and am trying to learn as much as possible so that I can be a respectful and kind person in the community. This was so informative and helpful for me. Thank you again for sharing in such a clear way!
A year ago, I watched this video to prepare for my first Ramadan with the intention to take shahada at the end. Alhamdulilllah. This video helped me feel confident on embarking on the month all alone. May Allah SWT bless you sister and place barakah in your channel ❤
Salam aleykoum sister! :) I've just discovered your channel, and alhamdulilah just before Ramadan, feels like a blessing. As a convert it is very helpful. You're the muslim friend that I don't have yet irl. BarakaAllahu fik for educating us in such a peaceful manner (your voice is soooo soothing btw mashaAllah). Keep doing amazing videos, may Allah bless you with everything you're seeking, may He allow us to reach Ramadan. :)
Wa Aleikum Asalam! 🌷 Nice to e-meet you sister! Jazakillah khair for your kind words and May Allah make this an incredibly rewarding Ramadan for you!! 🤲♥️
Asalamu Alaykum and Jazaki Allah Khair, dear sister, for this beautiful tutorial on Ramadan 101, Masha’Allah. The only two things It would be nice to add is that it’s okay to begin fasting in the state of janube and that any days one has to make up due to missing a day of fasting in Ramadan, must be made up before the next coming Ramadan and that we are not allowed to fast the day before Ramadan. May Allah grant us all the opportunity to see this next Ramadan and to make it accepted and blessed, Ameen.
Im not Muslim but I love my Muslim friends very much. Also, I am forever impressed by Palestinians and the strength of their faith. I am trying Ramadan this year with the guidance of my Lebanese friend, Mariam 💗. I hope the universe receives my fast as an offering and hears my plea for the genocides to stop and for Palestine to be free this year 🙏🏽

This was a great video to share with a revert friend . It covered almost everything in a beautiful and concise way . BarakaAllah. The only thing I will to add is about the number of taraweeh prayers . There is a difference of opinion on that and the correct veiw is that prophet pbuh didn't set a specific number for it al one do 2 rakahs or 100 making them odd in number by praying with at the end and that will be considered night prayer / tarawih for him Is there a set number for prayers at night? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Prayers at night are to be offered two by two (two rak’ahs at a time). I've just started learning to pray and I find it difficult finding explanation information about Du'as to make. Maybe a video in general about different types of prayers, their characteristics each, do they have to be the exact same rak'ah that you recite every time for that certain prayer etc? Also I would like to ask for guidance in regard of how to communicate with Allah swt. For instance if one is struggling with health, loss of a loved one or something else, how do we make a prayer and call Allah for help and guidance for this particular situation?

I think Allah (SWT) is not a jerk, but The Most Merciful, and will not send people with chronic illnesses nor old people to hell for taking a couple pills that they need in order to live because they need them at some point of the day, including people with mental illnesses that may need an emergency medication. Eid al-Fitr lasts for just one day, which is the first day of Shawwaal. ( not 3 days)
With regard to the commonly-held belief among people, that Eid al-Fitr lasts for three days, this is merely a custom that is known among the people, and has nothing to do with any shar’i rulings.
Eid al Adha lasts for 3 days
Hope that helps
The dispute is whether it is 20 rakah aur 8 rakah and the correct view is that it is 20.
It is only Eidul Adhha that remains till three days and those days are known as Ayyamut Tashreeq.

Hi. They are not connected with ramadan. Probably people started making drawings of them because mosques have these shapes but there is nothing connecting them to ramadan, if anything these sheets would make a good lesson on astronomy
Sounds like if you do it right you can get pretty shredded in Ramadan if you eat right after magrib.
what if we have that time of the month on Laylat al-Qadr ?
Good question - we can take part in other worship activities and good deeds inshaAllah, e.g. making du'aa, listening to Quran, helping others, cooking for those fasting, making dhikr etc.
Is there a specific time that I can follow to fast?
Yes you start your fast at fajr and end it at the time of maghrib
