Anyone remember the top 500 of the 80s that was played on BRMB (and other independent radio stations) on 30th/31st December 1989 and 1st January 1990? I've still got bits of that countdown on various cassette tapes and I recognise the jingles on this clip from there.

Fascinating. I recognise the jingles because I have some cassette tape recordings of this radio station from 30th/31st December 1989 when they were playing the top 500 best-selling singles of the 1980s.
