I am Vietnamese and I'm not furious about pineapple. I think it's a good fruit. Can be used to fuse with many meat dish to balance things out. Especially in "mắm nêm". 👍
Yup and my former friends’ mom added that pineapple in too as she claimed that it made that taste better.
My mom puts pineapple in a variation of canh chua! It’s amazing
My mom doesn't use the traditional bean sprouts for bahn xeo. She's uses jimaca, a type of mexican turnip, gives it way more crunch!

Banh xeo is up to you. Every family has their own preferences on what's gets rolled into the banh xeo. Our family does sautéed shrimp and pork with fresh herbs. You do what you want.

Do you ever sit back and realize how many people vicariously sit across the table from you to eat or board a train or plane to ride with you? I have a very good friend who is a verified "Foodie" and she'd go crazy watching your videos. As for me, I love watching your videos. I have no need to travel but I love seeing the accommodations. As for eating, you inspire me to experiment at home in the kitchen.

Dude, I am Vietnamese and we do NOT put pineapple on any of our savory food, especially ban Xeo. It was so weird and funny at the same time to see pineapple and kimchi in a ban xeo...only in Korea. Overall, everything look so good. Love your videos ❤️from Arizona.
