I hate the current avatar trend rn fake headless when I bought a real headless few years ago for no reason now u can buy the fake one and few years later headless not gonna be worth it in the next era
I think Roblox will get realistic avatars, in Roblox Studio you can even animate the facial expressions (like mouth, cheeks, lips...) of the new realistic characters like enreal engine so....
I love the old roblox avatars a lot of creativity, and funny and not disgusting avatars, with a very basic design but good, now are bored and same avatars with ultra details design. Im tired of new roblox
I also joined in 2017 and I keep the avatar style still today however 3:17 I would like to point out that the frost gear users were mostly oders like the slenders today.
Tbh 2017 avatars were still a trend in early 2020 but started dying in mid 2020 so I would say 2016- mid 2020
