Many parents "fail their kids". As horrible as it is, that's not a crime. We have to remember that to be arrested and charged, a crime has to have been committed. Therein lies the problem for the prosecutors office. To find Kevin F in violation of a specific law. Most of us wouldn't want to be hauled off to jail for being a bad parent at one time or other. Let's all remember that we live in a country where ppl can't just be thrown into jail and held there without a specific reason. Our system isn't perfect & sometimes it fails....but as citizens, we shouldn't be so quick to throw ppl into jail just because we don't like them. As the investigation continues, as I'm sure it is, the police may be able to find evidence of law breaking....

very true. when they do grow up they expect their kids lives to revolve around them. my mom is a narcissist and after the divorce my siblings and I stayed with my dad because she decided to go on a rampage and attack us all physically. Now that i’m an adult she gets angry i don’t go visit her and i have to remind her over and over again i work full time night shifts, go to school full time, and any time in between im eating or sleeping . no matter how i say it IM STILL THE PROBLEM because i don’t drop everything to go see her when she wants attention.

She wanted to get her siblings items hoping she would get custody. And he was involved with the bad parenting when he was part of "8 passengers"

She also took the family passports which she later returned by dropping them off at the police statement once everyone was in custody and I think that that was just so smart of her to keep anyone from trying to run ESPECIALLY with any of the kids that they had trouble locating initially

When the cops told him his children were hospitalized and emaciated, he was mostly interested in getting his wife out of jail and feigned not knowing what emaciated meant. He did not display or demonstrate concern nor did he protect or rescue his children before Jody moved in. Infact, while he was first interview at the police station (he knew his wife was in jail), he declined to speak about how he disciplined his children, (knowing his wife was in jail for hurting them). His late landing demonstration of “devastation” over the condition of the two hospitalized children was quickly followed with more concern for his wife. No “are they going to live? Are they ok? Are they crying? Are they conscious? What will happen to them?” I’m not even their father or a relative and those would have been my first questions. “Are they going to make it? Are they being comforted? Are they being hydrated? Hooked upto IVs? Will they suffer brain damage? Are they afraid? Are they being consoled and comforted? This man has no empathy for his children. He’s a very bad father and should not have access to children.

This is what happens when you make your child raise your other children. Shari is FIERCELY protective and …she’s capable. She’s capable of parenting and caring for them because that’s what she’s always done. It’s no surprise the children became so malnourished and neglected once Shari left for college. Their main caregiver had left. Ruby didn’t know how to actually cope with having to raise kids because she’s always pawned it off onto Shari and the other two girls.

In UK had a uk safety law come in to effect yesterday, it was passed but social media sites and other websites have a two month notice basically before they begin to enforce it. So it allows it to be taken down before. If they don’t enforce tougher penalty is jail time for the owner or owners. Eu,Canada, are working on online safety bill as well. In situations like this the eldest girl is always groomed to be a mini mom with non of the power or control so she was probably a parent to her siblings for years and given no ability to give them boundaries or rules that work for her and being forced to watch her moms unfair and abusive treatment of her siblings while being powerless to actually do anything
@@Makingofabetterlife I watched what was posted on other channels but my best friend growing up lived in a mormon household with lots of kids and she could never do anything fun because she always had to help with her siblings. She was given some pretty harsh punishments so going against her mom on anything was never an option she could even fathom until she got older. It seems unfortunately normalized amongst these types.

She does not owe anyone. But she has her siblings to think about. It is a big burden for someone her age. Not only does she have to find her way to recovery, she has to think about her siblings. It is unfair that she has to do all that. And I worry about her decision being influenced by shady people.

She is the one good candidate for having 4 of her younger siblings under her care. Their parents Ruby and Kevin both are abusive and controlling narcissistic people who both need to be in prison and NOT have custody of the kids.
It's ridiculous how the father has no charges, no responsibilities at all, about the well-being of his own kids. The whole world still thinks kids are made by only one person and the other who is away is totally free. Both parents should always be responsible for what happens to their children, no matter the situation, and if one is away, the worst for them.

That's alot for a young girl! Bonnie has a new big house and she claims to be so upset so she should take them! The problem is she is mean to kids too and was always listening to Connextions!
Only one that does not have a large house is julie. And hers is rented. Her man child husband has finally graduated from college after moving the family several times. They just moved again he has taken a 2 year fellowship of some sort. The grand parents on ruby's side also have a large home. Kevin's family when ever we saw them didnt been seem to be living high off the hog. Not sure about ruby's brother. He did have a TH-cam channel but it was his wife that usually posted stuff.

Shari did post in her IG stories after the Finally post. It was maybe within the next couple days later and she was asking people to help find any significant videos and information that may be helpful to the case. She had a google sheet/drive that was set up and given to her. I believe it’s still up on the Reddit forum. So she truly was reaching out to the followers for help. It was a big deal and many community members were helping document info and finding clips online since the channel was deactivated long ago.
I feel so sorry for those children. I hope they get all the help they need and OMG I hope that Kevin doesn’t get custody of the children. He was right by Ruby’s side with their ridiculous parenting.

And trying to destroy men in particular. And its very obvious from other reports she hates children. Kevin also admitted when the TH-cam channel stopped they lost 90 percent of their income.

I've been watching some of the older videos on Sharis account and have been realizing how little decor the family house had. I mean a family of 6 and none of the kids have ark work hung up? nothing in the rooms or on the walls. It seems almost like a staged house. the kids always look worn out and sick.. truly devastating how much Ruby and Kevin messed those children up
It isn’t a stretch to say that without the kids, nobody would have watched any of Ruby & Kevin’s videos, and they wouldn’t have had the large house and all of their possessions on Kevin’s salary as a professor at BYU and Ruby’s job as a stay at home mother of 6 kids. That being said, it would be a fair argument to say that Shari and the rest of the kids owned the electronic items and Kevin was stealing them from Shari!
Not even close. The Duggar children have all been taught skills. These children were only taught to be maids. Yet they were given all types of stuff. Watching their Christmas gift haul one year was disgusting. They all got such items as small refrigerators for their bed rooms. Motorized scooters. The older ones were more like vespas. Plus the one other item was each got knives. Like hunting knives. Even the young ones. Very weird

Every now and again when I watched their videos I obviously knew their parents were crazy but as one of the oldest I’ve always had hope for her. Hope that when she gets older she’ll be able to get out into the world and realize kids shouldn’t be treated like her and siblings were. It is disingenuous using a video posted to her IG from January as if it’s a recent response. I also wouldn’t trust anything Kevin Franke’s attorney says, especially when it comes to Shari. I do think it’s interesting though that Shari’s IG post uses similar language to Kevin’s recent statement about everything being upside down.
I've read a few articles about the "Finally" Instagram was in response to the older daughter reporting her parents to CPS multiple times with no real results.

This is what I think happened. The police broke down the door to the house. Dcfs was getting the 2 girls and meeting Shari at the house. Shari, smart girl, realizes the door has been broke down, grabs all the items that could be stolen so they are safe. Kevin should be praising Shari for her quick thinking, not suing her. I know Shari gave all the stuff to the police and they gave it to Kevin. Ruby is not a good representative of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is abusive to her children and that is not what the Church teaches at all. In fact leaders speak out against it all the time. Does it mean it never happens, no. People make terrible choices everyday. And because they made all those videos public, spouting her Jody doctrine, it made it seem like it was the Church telling her this. No. It was Jody and her warped ideas. I pray for Shari and her siblings. Be strong kids! ❤

When the cops told him his children were hospitalized and emaciated, he was mostly interested in getting his wife out of jail and feigned not knowing what emaciated meant. He did not display or demonstrate concern nor did he protect or rescue his children before Jody moved in. Infact, while he was first interview at the police station (he knew his wife was in jail), he declined to speak about how he disciplined his children, (knowing his wife was in jail for hurting them). His late landing demonstration of “devastation” over the condition of the two hospitalized children was quickly followed with more concern for his wife. No “are they going to live? Are they ok? Are they crying? Are they conscious? What will happen to them?”
I’m not even their father or a relative and those would have been my first questions. “Are they going to make it? Are they being comforted? Are they being hydrated? Hooked upto IVs? Will they suffer brain damage? Are they afraid? Are they being consoled and comforted?

This is what happens when you make your child raise your other children. Shari is FIERCELY protective and …she’s capable. In the UK, it’s going to enforces by ofcom.

She was given some pretty harsh punishments so going against her mom on anything was never an option she could even fathom until she got older. It seems unfortunately normalized amongst these types.

She is the one good candidate for having 4 of her younger siblings under her care. Their parents Ruby and Kevin both are abusive and controlling narcissistic people who both need to be in prison and NOT have custody of the kids.
It's ridiculous how the father has no charges, no responsibilities at all, about the well-being of his own kids. The whole world still thinks kids are made by only one person and the other who is away is totally free. Both parents should always be responsible for what happens to their children, no matter the situation, and if one is away, the worst for them.

Only one that does not have a large house is julie. And hers is rented. Her man child husband has finally graduated from college after moving the family several times. They just moved again he has taken a 2 year fellowship of some sort. The grand parents on ruby's side also have a large home. Kevin's family when ever we saw them didnt been seem to be living high off the hog. Not sure about ruby's brother. He did have a TH-cam channel but it was his wife that usually posted stuff.

It was maybe within the next couple days later and she was asking people to help find any significant videos and information that may be helpful to the case. She had a google sheet/drive that was set up and given to her. I believe it’s still up on the Reddit forum. So she truly was reaching out to the followers for help. It was a big deal and many community members were helping document info and finding clips online since the channel was deactivated long ago.

I've been watching some of the older videos on Sharis account and have been realizing how little decor the family house had. I mean a family of 6 and none of the kids have ark work hung up? nothing in the rooms or on the walls. Shari will have her own pr team
Every now and again when I watched their videos I obviously knew their parents were crazy but as one of the oldest I’ve always had hope for her. Hope that when she gets older she’ll be able to get out into the world and realize kids shouldn’t be treated like her and siblings were. Glad to know that she’s doing ok and trying to protect her siblings.
I hope she is seeking therapy outside the Mormon church; Remember it was church sponsor therapy (Hildebrant and Connections) that got us here.
It was her mother making the garbage decisions. Ruby as well as Jodi are the big problem. Ruby has always shown to need to be the boss and run the show so to speak. Have seen old family movies where she was not just mean but downright cruel to her brother.
It is disingenuous using a video posted to her IG from January as if it’s a recent response. I also wouldn’t trust anything Kevin Franke’s attorney says, especially when it comes to Shari. I do think it’s interesting though that Shari’s IG post uses similar language to Kevin’s recent statement about everything being upside down.
How about the father ? does he not have a responsibility to care for his kids? why is he not being charged?

I've read a few articles about the "Finally" Instagram was in response to the older daughter reporting her parents to CPS multiple times with no real results.
Can't do much when you don't find much.

If there's recent footage of Shari getting along with Kevin since this story broke, remember that putting on a smile in public when she's with her abusers was her entire life growing up on social media. Deep down she may be scared NOT to appear that way because she was RAISED to appear that way
It's sad to think that Ruby a control freak, thought that her behavior was ok. The way these kids were being treated prior to even Jodi was completely narasistic! No wonder Shari needed counseling! Jodi is the complete monster though!
Kevin should be behind bars. He is not a father nor a decent man.
The husband must be accountable for looking the other way. PLEASE, do not hand those kids to that disguised monster.

There is no doubt in my mind she took the computers and tablets to see what she could find, she didn't want to depend on whatever the 'investigation' found. Beautiful girl and I hope she makes the most of all of this turmoil, hope she has the wisdom in the future to realize that God has everything to do with getting her through this, not just a part.

Perhaps there are things on the electronics and in the journal that dad needs to keep very private.
This is what I think happened. The police broke down the door to the house. Dcfs was getting the 2 girls and meeting Shari at the house. Shari, smart girl, realizes the door has been broke down, grabs all the items that could be stolen so they are safe. Kevin should be praising Shari for her quick thinking, not suing her. I know Shari gave all the stuff to the police and they gave it to Kevin.
Ruby is not a good representative of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is abusive to her children and that is not what the Church teaches at all. In fact leaders speak out against it all the time. Does it mean it never happens, no. People make terrible choices everyday. And because they made all those videos public, spouting her Jody doctrine, it made it seem like it was the Church telling her this. No. It was Jody and her warped ideas. I pray for Shari and her siblings. Be strong kids! ❤
