- Our annual chat with NFL VP of Broadcasting and one of the head schedule-makers, Mike North. Are the Bills still going to get a ton of primetime treatment? What's happening with the Christmas Day game? And a lot more!
This guy is awesome. Never thought scheduling would be so interesting.
Mike North is great!
Peter King, now retired, had a pod with him every year right after schedule release. It's fascinating to learn what all goes into it.
I'm a Chiefs fan who got here looking for a MIke North scheduling pod and you guys were excellent with many great questions. Well done!
Excellent and informative, really interesting!!
This is one of my favorite podcasts all year. It's fascinating to get into the analytics of the NFL schedule. It's similar to the draft. 272 individual rankings.
You guys killed it as usual. Thank you
Love this guys. Thanks!!
I wish i saw this earlier so i could’ve sent a question in, great interview!
an excellent episode as always. Not a fan of the Christmas games by any means and on a Wednesday especially not a fan, but the nFL will make it work somehow. I predict the Bills land either the Thanksgiving, Black Friday or Christmas Day games since they had a reprieve from any holiday games last year.
As a Bills fan, I would love for the Bills to play on Christmas! It’d be really cool!
Noooo
Although I fear they will be on Christmas or Thanksgiving (again) this year
I’ve had my fill on holiday games. lol way too stressful.
@@thebourg The Bills are really good with one of the best players in the NFL! Chances are high they play either Thanksgiving, Christmas or both! But I see your point though.
@@BuffaloMotivated Unless is a blowout, every Bills game stresses me out! lol
re: the international games, he didn't really get into how they pick the visiting teams. I understand the home teams being the team with the extra game but do they pick the visiting teams? Do they not pick teams that have had a international game the year before?
Woah Mike North predicted the Zach Wilson - Broncos trade 🤣 just after 1 hour mark
this guy fire GO BILLS
regarding the London games discussion, "yes you're rested, but are you rusty" makes a lot of sense tbh
This was super interesting
Most Eagles fans are not thrilled about a home game in Brazil.
As long as they rotate fairly shouldn’t be a problem
It's that extra home game that you lose, not one of your 8 regular home games. As a Chiefs fan i would prefer.not, but it's our new reality.
I feel like I can bet with this information.
Sal is a hound for the schedule. lol
Give the Bills all 1pm games, primetime blows
No, they don't. 1pm games all the time are boring. You can be a big boy and stay up late a couple times a year. It won't hurt you lol
The time of the games doesn't blow. Putting the games on channels you need to pay for to watch one game pisses me off.
Obviously not a hockey fan. Primetime comes with success. Prefer the drought years?!
@belindamason1339 also a hockey fan. Just prefer watching football on Sunday afternoon.
@@goewey11 I prefer it too! The hockey comment was just about the nature of that demanding schedule which is much tougher to fit into a busy life...smile.
Idk felt like a couple major blowouts happened last year
People are making this too complicated.
It's easy.
If Buffalo doesn't trade for a veteran reciever, they aren't all in for this season.
They could draft the best reciever in the class.
Is this rookie going to come in & be the savior? Highly doubtful.
If this team doesn't trade for a vet reciever, they are rebuilding.
If that were true, how did Kansas City win a superbowl?
@@edithjohnson812travis kelce.
But I dont think the bills have to trade for a vet.
