Porsche 904 at Le Mans 2014 (Director's Cut)

Lap of Le Mans during the build up for the 2014 24H race. Porsche 904-055, as seen on this clip, last raced at Le Mans in 1964 when it finished 8th. It was driven by Ben Pon and Henk van Zalinge for Racing Team Holland. Pon, driving this car, went on to win the Under 2 Litre Class of the European GT Championship in 1964.
This was a parade lap and the first time the car had run for many years - hence the cautious start!

As much as originals need to remain, especially those with a racing history... there NEEDS to be Singer version made, even if just a few. I've always liked the 904/Carrera GTS, so pretty, yet fiercely competitive on the race track.

That is the same orange as the 904 of my SCCA sponsor Jack Ryan but the front was yellow from the lights forward and didn't have those seats but the blue velour.
