    Should the January camp be age-capped?

      That should be entirely up to the coach. If Poch wants another look at Ream then let him. Charlie nailed it, it should be the best available players regardless of age

    Let’s send more American Players to the Favela’s in Brazil. They’ll get the flair we need

    tony is so spot on.
    american youth soccer coaches and parents are just screaming to get the ball off the feet of players. its pervasive and gets kids not trusting their instincts or their eyes.
    rule #2 of soccer w my kids has been trust your dribble. your dribble is your best friend. but their coaches, especially my sons, have routinely tried to get the ball off his feet. even when hes getting downhill.
    i think youth coaches want all this tiki taki, boom-boom passing instead of playing football.

    This camp is also good so that some of the MLS teams can get feedback on where their guy needs to improve his game to move up a level and for them to focus on a certain aspect. So it's good for the player and managers (that are open minded)

    There's only one Jimmy Conrad. We can't count on lightning striking twice.

    How about not playing 11 v 11 tournaments on full fields, to promote more technical development. The desire to win games and tournaments means players are discouraged from trying to dribble and lose possession in my opinion.

    The parents on the sidelines should NEVER give ANY instructions-pass, shoot, run, attack, etc.

    No- what we SHOULD see is Steffen between the pipes, Cole Bassett & Djorde Mihailovic getting a-nother call ups and should NOT see players like Ream or Jesus. Bassett- 1cap/1goal+ European experience;
    We ALL know Djorde the Juggernaut and STEFFEN has been sh!t on because his defense left him on an island and the GA's stacked up, that's why the Pids brought in Reggie Cannon after the Bombito sale and then bought 2 more CB's in the off season. Yes, up the PIDS, but THESE guys REALLY DESERVE IT.

    Does this speak to the fact that kids in America largely don't play pick up soccer outside of club, camps, training etc. There isn't just kids playing like they do in other countries. I dare say it's even happening to basketball here. It used to be kids grew up playing on the playground, pickup, etc and had all that creativity. I think players are more fundamentally sound per se now. But they all do the same thing. Like the players are all raised in a lab.
