Parcel from this shope was a regular item to our Dinner. 😄 Being in Udupi now i miss the odour, fragrance and taste of Egg Stumbler at this shop.😇... You just took me back in time from USA to my hometown mangalore I had the egg stumbler the first time in 1977 The shop was next to the hindu military hotel Cost was 3.50 for a single stumbler Used to watch him make it and try to do it at home Till this day after
Can never replicate it after 45 years Used to pack it and take it to Chitra talkies to watch and eat The cinema is gone He was then helping his dad Thanks mr kripal for bringing back memories Will be visiting for sure in October when I come back to get my mom back with me

Look forward to some unique experience at this shop recommended by some of our digi-family members . It’s wonderful that you also take the reco of the patrons quite seriously . Though the owner was not able to articulate the reason for keeping the name as egg stumbler - I believed he would have stumbled on this dish in one of his experiments with Scrambled eggs with bread crumbs 😀😀 Have never ever tried such an unique egg dish ever . It seems quite flavourful based on the style of preparation and also based on your review . What a fab combo of the Toasted dices of bread , onions, tomatoes , scrambled egg and some chillis to kick in some heat 👍 You are too good when it comes to deciphering the most intricate spice blends and this garam masala is child’s play for you . The Egg Roll preparation was also quite unique Eggs inside an Egg with some awesome spice blend - Truly an “Eggy affair” 😀😀 I would certainly vote for the Egg wrap over the Stumbler 👍 True that preparation of the Egg wrap might look a tad simple but definitely has a complexity of flavour drool worth 😋😋 I would have just added a dash of ground pepper on top of the Egg wrap to amp up the flavour profile .
