The Southern Rail Review Of The Year 2020 - " This Train Is Bound For Glory" (Thank You NHS)
This year has been tough on us all due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic so this year we are being nice! - well nearly!
Lockdown's and travel restrictions have massively reduced the amount of people traveling on trains around the country but never fear because Southern Rail passengers are no strangers to service reductions and cancelled services!
So what better remedy is there to lift our spirits during these strange times than for Southern staff to sing and dance about it with all that spare time on their hands? The song is actually very good, they have even got a couple of spare conductors (yes, remember those people that they got rid of a few years ago because they are not needed?) to join in, sing and play musical instruments!

In reflection though, we echo the sentiment and would like to thank our amazing NHS and key workers for what they have done this year to keep the country going.

There's no Conductor on that service, 1. It is a 455, no Southern Conductors maintain traction knowledge of 455s AFAIK as they don't work them and 2. It's a Metro service, there were no on board staff on those services originally. If this were to happen on an East Grinstead, Reigate or Brighton service, for example, then they would have intervened due to their presence.
