What an awesome video. I personally don’t think there’s anything wrong at all with having so many watches. It’s incredibly interesting to see how your collection has evolved over the years as watch styles come in and out of fashion and your personal taste shifts over time. Great collection!
I honestly think it's fine to have one, three, ten or a hundred watches. We each have our own set of reasons for owning objects and of course, these will naturally shift over time. You always make sense to me, for what that's worth. 😊
Having personally over 150 watches (98 Casio/G-Shock) I can relate so much with you with regard to "Am I a collector or hoarder". Having a connection with a timepiece is very important and once you start your watch journey its very very easy to loose your way. You have an absolutely awesome collection. So much choice for any occasion. Watch collecting I believe is for the person and not for showing off or buying said watch to impress others. I believe when you look down on your wrist and see what you have on it should bring memories. As always excellent video content
Takes courage to say what you say at the end of the video about having a healthy relationship with collecting. Most TH-camrs just feed the habit. When I slowed down and purchased less frequently, I found it hard to maintain enthusiasm and ended up neglecting most of my collection in favour of one or two watches.
Wonderfully said, truly. Being a watch collector is such a weird thing because it’s not about collecting them all, it’s not about collecting period - It’s about experiencing watches - And you can realistically only fully experience no more than 7 watches(one per day of the week) in a time frame. You have to sell and move on to enjoy different pieces. I own close to 15 watches and I honestly only wear 2 that I get the full owning experience from.
Hey, thanks to you for showing this versatile and cool watch collection. The variety is great and it was a treat to see a few that are superb and that I have not yet seen on wrist. Most enjoyable
A deeply impressive collection Andrei! You've got passionate and playful pieces and more serious spec monsters as well! There are some with great horological significance but all of them awesome!
You are absolutely one of my favorite watch TH-cam channels. I love your collection, yes it’s too big, but who cares? Totally enjoy your reasoning and your quirkiness. Looking forward to seeing what you do in the next year!
What a great video! I especially enjoyed the end, where you talked about watch collecting. I would love to see a video (maybe a series?) on downsizing and (in lack of a better word) “healthy” watch collecting, having a 5-10 watch collection (as others have said, excluding G-shocks/Casio`s which can be considered as another thing) and enjoying that collection, maybe enforcing a one in one out kind of deal. Whatever you decide, I am here to follow your journey :) Keep up the great videos! You are one of the best watch channels imo.
Your closing statement about how some of us can normalize purchasing watches for several thousand dollars without emotion resonated with me. Thanks for sharing. Wishing you continued success.
Amazing crowd! I remember seeing all of the individual videos for each (and look forward to seeing the ones not featured yet on the channel). It’s a nice journey you are on and I am happy to tag along… :) curious to see the distillation process in the coming period (especially as I may benefit from some fractions extracted from the process … ;) ) Cheers 🥂
Very honest video. Appreciated. It would be very interesting to see you filter that down to a more manageable and sensible collection size. 10 or 12 in a single case (not counting the GShocks of course!). If I were in your shoes I think I would cull in stages - no more purchases and at 3 or 4 points in year remove a handful of watches not being worn or loved. Until eventually arriving at the 10-12 final collection. Be a fascinating series to watch that too.
I knew it was a beautiful, varied assortment of timepieces once I started taking copious notes . I guess I should say "fantastic job Andrei" but after "watching" the entire video, I'm afraid my horological collecting budget just quadrupled. 😎. Well done my friend.
The ZRC is an absolute work if art. I was lucky enough to try one at a watch fair recently. Totally original design, comfortable and stunning. Its way too expensive for me but if I had the money Id get it in a heartbeat. What a great collection you've got, thanks for sharing 💥
Thank you for sharing your honest thoughts on your collection and collecting. I’m in the same place as you, so this year I’ve decided to thin out the collection but it is so difficult mentally to do……….
Right! I saved the video to watch it later. I wıill prepare a nice drink, sit and enjoy probably a very satisfying content, later this evening. Cheers!
Hi Toni, greetings from Jakarta. How great & diverse a collection. I really appreciate how you span the gamut from affordable to middle & upper tier prices. - Brian ✌🏻
I have seen all of your videos in a day & found the quality of editing & honest review, much appreciated. Hoping the better videos as always, cheers!! ♥ from India.
Wow, the ending is thought-provoking and really fits in with my current approach to watches. Over 70 watches is about 60 too many to provide enough attention to each of them ;) But I don't call myself a collector either, I wear watches because I like them. I don't collect them to tick off checkpoints ;) But I really understand your point. All the best!
I was getting overwhelmed there for a while. I'm glad to see that you realize that your collection has gotten out of hand. At least you recognize it. Obviously your pockets are deep but you're cool about it. Nice 👍
Impressive collection for sure ! If your going to slim down & strip it back , can see many sleepless nights ahead for you my friend. Thanks for sharing with all the community 👍👏👍👏
I love your watch, the breadth and openness to watches of all price levels and types is impressive. But what I like more is the strap choices! The stand out is the (ostrich?) strap on that Reverso! Changing up straps is such a good way to expand the versatility and looks of a collection without actually getting more watches. It's also saved me from selling a few watches that weren't working out on their original straps too!
Amazing collection! But yes, I agree with your closing sentiment and was in the same place a year ago. I've recently sold off quite a few (30 down to 20) and do feel 20 is much more appropriate. While I enjoy having a bigger collection with a lot of variety, but I'm also finding that I really enjoy wearing each watch more often than before. I feel a stronger bond forming with each piece simply because I'm wearing it more often. I also find that picking the watch to wear that day is much easier with 10 less watches haha. Very happy with 20, and will likely keep around this qty (or possibly move a few more in the future).
thats a HUGE collection! not judging at all they all are great watches but a lot. i think 10-15 watches carefully picked and loved AND worn regularly is the way to go, at least for me.
I fell down the exact same rabbit hole, and have been contemplating my collection just as you are in this video. I don't mind selling the watches... It's just a huge hassle to do so. 😅
Great collection. Mine will be up by the weekend. I’m at around 45 watches and am slowly shrinking it down. My New Year resolution is to get it down to 30, it wont be easy because I love them all. 😊😢
An excellent video as always and some awesome watches in the collection, including the ZRC, Hanhart, original blue "Bond" Seamaster and pleased you now have a Moonwatch. It is also really nice to see you still have a place for Certina. I understand the dilemma of a 70 plus collection, mine is usually hovering around that number. The dilemma of which watch to wear and risk of not having a connection to a watch is very real but I've found over a number of years to just accept the number and try a range of ways of rotating them but equally not feeling guilty if I wear the same watch for a couple of weeks........ I'm looking forward to your content in 2025!
You have a wonderful collection with a lot of fantastic watches! The three watches I enjoyed the most were the Fortis Cosmonaut, the JLC, and the Orient Bambino in that order. I have fifteen watches in my collection and I want to reduce it to six or less. It’s better for me to only keep what I can reasonably wear in a rotation. Great video coming into the holiday season.
Great collection. What I'm interested in now is how do you store them all and keep them clean, do you keep them in the original boxes or do you have a special storage case or a table drawer?
Great video, but 74 is a lot and finding time to.appreciate each watch is a challenge. I struggle with almost half as many. It's an addiction really. Looking back at your 2021, 2022 SOTCs you seemed more excited still with plenty variety. This year, 3 of the same casio, 3 very similar Tudor, 3 very similar Omega.....Time for consolidation and ruthlessness. What happened to the Alpine Eagle?
Awesome video my favourites are Eve Edifice, BB58, Alpinist, SKX, SLA033, BB54, Ray2, vintage Seamaster, Marinemaster, Santos, NASA, GSquares and the Royalle!
well ive also been thru quite a journey during my collecting, but im now following a concept of 3 seikos, 3 casios. I have an alpinist as daily, a seiko premier quartz tank as a dress watch, and I currently own a 6139 6002 cevert that I'll probably sell and get an SSB421 instead. the casio collection is also done, final... the perfect affordable casio trilogy, a royale, a square solar gwm5610, and a g9000 classic mudman.
A lot of cool pieces. I really desire to eventually get a reverso. But currently there are about three high end pieces on the list above it that I need to get.
Andrei, thank you. The video is beautiful as always, your collection is extremely interesting and combined with your very meaningful message at the end it just confirms that you’re not just a great content creator but most probably a great human as well ;) take care !
Great collection. Have you ever added up how much you have spent on your collection? Don't do it if you have not lol. I added up my small collection and was surprised what I have spent so far. It definitely made my decision to stop for a few years easier lol. Thanks for introducing us to your collection.
Fantastic collection. This is probably the most well balanced collection I've ever seen on TH-cam and I've been following and watching all the major and small watch channels for the last 15 years. I did have a question though. At 7:22 you mention "tinneu watches"? Not sure if I understood that correctly. Could you clarify?

My god! I have never seen a bigger collection!!! Impressive and beautiful! Congrats
Thank you!
Why your channel isn’t over 250K, is beyond me. Nice collection.
Every notable watch ever made. You truly are The Brave Collector Andre
I honestly think it's fine to have one, three, ten or a hundred watches. We each have our own set of reasons for owning objects and of course, these will naturally shift over time. You always make sense to me, for what that's worth. 😊
What I enjoy of your collection and your chanel its how you genuinely have interest in both luxury and affordable watches. Amazing video
Seriously, way too much stress trying to figure out which one to wear everyday :) Outstanding collection!!!
Thank you :)

The red Certina is Amazing ❤
This! That was the first and only watch that made me stop the video and Google it. I have been on the hunt for a beautiful red dial watch… 🤔

To me the best collection on TH-cam. Thanks André for showing us this beauties😊

@@BraveBeatersI guess we can all agree that Gshocks don’t count … unless you go to Frogman territory… or even worse … MrG ;)

That is quite some collection Andrei - congrats and thanks for sharing 👍

Many watches I love, many watches I like, many watches I don't like at all. Many watches.

And i thought my collection was too large! Your Mido was 🔥 The Coke GMT is my fave though.
Felicitaciones 👍 buena colección de relojes y buen video GRACIAS
You saved the best....most capable watches till last. 😊
haha! Agree! :)
All of a sudden you present a watch (Tag Heuer Monaco) that I recognise only without the Tag in black and steel. What a lovely watch.
Well sorted collection
your photography is beautiful, along with the watches!

Agreed with your view on collecting. That’s why I over analyze my watch purchases, which is its own problem 😂
haha! Better like this than to buy watches on a constant basis

Good collection.Great summation.
"Tonneau" which is referring to the barrel case shape
Citizen's, Fortis and Grand Seiko... and maybe the GSteel Casio.. Would be my full collection..
Any case, nice SOTC ! Keep brave!
Thank you! :)
Hey man, great collection, can I ask your wrist size?
amazing collection
thank you for your honesty. I feel the same way and my collection is only about 25. It's gluttinous is what it is.
Rolex Explorer II Polar - fantastic - on my everyday wear wish list!
Thanks for the vid ! So no 36 exolorer then ?
I'm kinda hurt to find out that you seem to have sold your Timex Marlin Chrono....
Aside from that... damn awesome collection!
Cool video. Lots of great watches!
I personally would keep the:
Explorer 2
Black bay gmt
BB54
Speedy moonwatch
Seiko Willard
Grand seiko
G Shock Rangeman
..And sell the rest.
One watch for each day 😊
I like Your Zodiac - i have a bit different version with ceramic case, but here dial color is amazing.
That Ceramic version is super cool! Congrats!
haven't seen your other sotc videos but this one was impressive

All you need is the Tudor Pelagos LHD. Save your money 👍👍👍
haha! True words!

Amazing collection! Yeah if it was me I would sell the ones I haven't worn in a year 😂 That's my rule
Solid collection!
Thank you :)
Simply superb.
stunning collection
I have to agree - I amassed over 50 watches during lockdown - it became an unhealthy distraction and I ended up with a lot of money tied up in watches I would never wear
Sold all of them
All I have left are 5 sentimental birth year watches for very occasional wear
For every day use all I need is my Grand Seiko 9F quartz and a solar atomic G-Shock square
And yes - I’m much happier
Less is definitely more especially when it comes to watch collecting
