I just hope there’s a doctor like him available when my life has become too horrible to bear. One whose compassion and empathy shows in everything he does. Thank you jury. Well done.

Once a dying person is removed from life support, life isn’t supported any longer. Watta sham of a prosecution

Thank you to this Jury for aquitting this doctor. And shame on the prosecutors for pushing these charges and the patients' families for trying to get rich off of their loved ones' death.

I believe the hospital had their own lawyer sitting at this trial.

Civil case rules are so different. Dr. Husel's malpractice comes into play. In a civil case if you don't win you pay for all the cost of the suit, for both sides. How much money will the ambulance-chasing lawyers hope to earn off this event? Dr. Husel does not have to answer any questions in a deposition.

Jose Baez went from public defender a decade ago, to easily the best criminal defense attorney in the entire country now.

The Jury reached the correct verdict in this case based on Expert Testimony, and ALL evidence presented in this case.
    NOT GUILTY x14 !
Thank you to the Jury for your diligence and time spent involving this lengthy case. God Bless Dr. Husel and his family today and always.

This is still criminal negligence... He's the one in charge of the administering of the Fentanyl, these people died under his administration of said drug, therefore he still did kill people even if he didn't mean to. This is still 3rd-degree murder.

Guilty of premeditated murder? No. Guilty of medical misconduct and criminal negligence? Absolutely. He still needs to face some sort of punishment. He may have not intended to kill anyone, but if a person goes to jail for running over someone who ran in front of them, then so should he for manslaughter. At the very least he should lose his medical license and never be allowed to practice medicine again. The fact that he isn't facing any charges is a failure of the court system.

Legally people shouldn't go to jail for accidentally running someone over after they run in front of their car. As long as its 100% accidental. If you were speeding or texting and driving, then it would be different. Or even for example if you knew your brakes were not safe for the road but you still didn't get them replaced.

Blame the DA. They wanted to out like a hero and go for the most serious charge, instead of manslaughter, which requires a lesser burden of proof. Now they lost any chance of charging him.

That lawyer for the family is stupid! acquittal/acquitted = NOT GUILTY!
So yes dr husel was found to be NOT GUILTY. Maybe the family should look for a different lawyer

So despite the fact these people died under his care, you're okay with this. News Flash: you don't have to kill people on purpose to get charged. This is textbook criminal-negligence.

I wouldn't want a doctor who believes he can decide what
patients can live and what patients can't! He is not GOD! If Jose is the lawyer, the same thing that defended Casey Anthony) you best believed he was guilty as hell!

this case is tough i can see now why so many dr s dont like to prescribe pain pills lol i mean wow ..and yes maybe stop jst giving out more than a three day supply and well stay in your lane specialty pain management offices with pain management combination therapies is possibly a better route .. but you think old peopel would be responsible ..but who knows when they pick up prescriptions what they do to be held accountable for the death is a partial truth but a system change is better ...
