This poor family got railroaded. How can he be accused of killing people when those patients were taken off life support and were at the end of life already. Dr. Husel did the humane thing by keeping these patients out of pain. We should all be able to die with dignity without suffering. I sure hope this family gets every penny they deserve. Prayers for the Husel family 🙏❤️🙏❤️

He should have been reinstated the moment he was acquitted of all the murders.

I agree. The s would not have happened if his coworkers and admin hadn't taken a big s@#$ backwards on him. The same people that think he's guilty-ironically- support abortion, assisted suicide and MAID.

Unfair!! Hospitals throw their doctors under the bus and think nothing of ruining a great doctor's life !

This makes me angry. My mother was on life support, she was brain dead, and I was grateful she wasn't in pain. This is going to have blow back and compromise the quality of healthcare we receive. Was he supposed to let them suffer? So many Americans have this sick mentality to sue and exploit situations where no wrong doing has occured just to try and get rich. They don't care if they destroy someone's life in the process.

The thanks he gets for trying to ease the struggle of actively dying for patients. He looks completely broken. Hospitals are hotbeds of corruption and do this to employees (especially nurses) all the time.

The greedy families are disgusting. The man is innocent, but the hospital had shoddy processes and used him as a scapegoat

Wow. I need this doctor at the end of my life. Being a nurse myself I hope no one has to suffer without the proper medication. Unless you are the person at the patients bedside on a daily basis no one should make any judgements. Period.

If he had been convicted instead of all of the comments on this story being positive everyone would be patting themselves on the back for noticing his "dead eye stare". He has it because of his severe PTSD, by the way, not because he's a monster. But that's all it would take. Different people in the jury and a different decision and everyone of you would be ripping him apart for his affect.

It seems like the hospital had to refer the case to police in order pay families with an insurance payout.

I'm a forensic physician. There's not enough information in this news video for me to make a judgment, but I could say this is a huge hotbed issue. In several areas it is considered acceptable for doctors to err on the side of comfort if prescribing pain meds despite the dangers. This is usually only in terminal patients in already extremely poor health and tremendously suffering. E.g. patient only has days to live, is in extreme pain, and the only dosages of pain meds prescribed that have pain benefit are now at dangerous levels. Now all this said, this creates a small grey zone where high dose opioids could be prescribed. ICU doctors are in the unfortunate position to be at high risk for bad outcomes even when they do the best possible job.

This is preposterous! A great doctor was wasted because of politics and hate! I hope he wins his lawsuit! Corporations these days are nothing but abominations! Sucking the life out of the hard-working men and women who put their lives into their jobs only to be run across the coals by some higher up because they think they know better that a trained professional! How dare they! Prayers for this lovely family! God bless them! 🙏 ✝️❤️

Something smells bad in this case. Greedy family members looking for a payday, typical, how many people suffer at the hands of their own family members. Terrible!

It’s normal practice in the Greater Cleveland Area to drug up the patients and tie them to beds. The patients are drugged to respiratory distress and put on breathing tubes and drugged again and then death. All the hospitals and long term care facilities are owned by the same company in greater Cleveland area and surrounding. All this why the staff is at the desk talking about a movie and eating popcorn. And laughing while patiently waiting for them to die so they can do it again. That’s how the hospital makes money
