What you MUST KNOW before you step into a BUILDER'S SALES OFFICE

The sales staff of under-construction project builders deliberately create confusion that you are in a contractual relationship with them, even though you are not. Unwary people who wander into builders' sales offices innocently, often without any intention of actually booking a flat, end up swiping a token for lakhs of rupees in a moment of poor judgement. Later, when they try to correct their decision by cancelling the booking and seeking a refund of their token or booking amount, they are told that the builder can and will FORFEIT their token, booking amount or Expression Of Interest (EOI) amount. This is unlawful and illegal, but it is being done almost every builder -- even well known builders like Godrej, Lodha, Runwal, Prestige, Purvankara, M3M, Signature Global, etc.

Urban naxal hits again. People need to understand there is no dream home. A man has to build his house like in old days by putting in hardwork & time, anything else is scam or a rip off in some way or other . Me and my father toiled for 5yrs to build our house on a land my dad purchased 20yrs ago , managing contractor, workers, carpenter, arranging materials, visiting countless shops ,etc. If you could just get a flat at fare price which you can hold for generations by sitting at the comfort of your AC office is plain lie .

Sir, my close. Relative cheated by Northen light, pokran rd no 2 , thane west, cyrus mistry group... 5 years flat booked since 2019 x last 2 years work halted, pls. Expose them, sir big group like shapoorji... Don't have funds to complete this project, this was so called premier project, hundreds of middle class family lost life savings and now. No hope. For. Yes they have sub clauses which only a civil lawyer can understand. Builders offices are like casinos, some people may get a good deal to attract new buyers but at the end of the day the builder always wins .
