I love the graphics in this LiS, though their hair does look perpetually greasy or wet 😅 I think the settings you were using (sounds, voices, trigger warnings) in the last 1/3 of the video were ideal 😊 Watching this was a great way to spend an evening!
I think the campfire pickup line would've been SOLIDDDD hahah, but aw I love the dynamics being created so far!! Can't wait to watch more! Been watching you for years now, and can I just say: thank you. The representation in your gameplay and the Sims Pride stories you put out make my queer heart sing. The Dr. hunter encounter with Lorretta would have been rewindable and she could have rewound it to just before Lorretta interrupted. And chosen a new path.... I'm not sure of why she's not doing it. And this double exposure image thing does that mean her previous ability was destroyed, or just mutated?

For context and timeline purposes, Max is supposed to be 28 in this. Is she still a student? Since I'm not in the US, I always find it helpful to know characters' age when they relate to education cause my country's school system is way different
tbf i’m also not 100% so an american can correct me on this lol but im fairly sure she’s like a tutor rn. i don’t think she’s a full blown teacher or professor but she holds weekly photography seminars for the undergraduates of the uni, she holds a staff position and is also focusing on her own profession in photography ☺️

@@EnglishSimmer been replaying 2 lately and still cry at what happens to mushroom. Hits even harder when I have a springer spaniel myself. Also….I accidentally turned Danny into a super villain.
i’ve seen a lot of this online but also its been 10 years. both of them have gone through huuuge amounts of trauma and seem to handle it differently. it’s not a shock to me that chloe can’t trust max after max saving her when she basically begged her to accept her fate and save arcadia, even if in the end max did stop using her powers the only thing that seems a bit mixed up to me is her blaming max for not moving on when from the evidence we’ve seen max was the one who wanted to settle down and have them start building a new life together. but again, i understand that a new life for chloe is probably consistently moving around/seeing new places/meeting new people so that shes constantly distracted from what has happened in her past. and also max now choosing to use her powers again when she knows how it can turn out but she’s always been stubborn and fiercely loyal

@@EnglishSimmer agreed. I completely understand why so many people in the fandom feel let down. But we saw them in a snapshot of youth, and grief and trauma can change people in the most unimaginable ways. And for Max and Chloe to be so codependent after going through the kind of trauma that they can never talk to anyone else about? It puts far more strain and pressure on a relationship than people might realise. Especially with Chloe having the tendency to externalise her trauma while Max internalises hers. I think it's interesting that D9 took such a bold risk to flesh out Max and Chloe's trauma this way. I like this series so far, and I'm excited to see where it heads. Obviously there's a huge part of me that hopes they will find their way back to each other, because I truly believe they are soul mates. But for now, I'm gonna enjoy the ride and see where it takes me.
