    dyson build quality is only on the surface. the gaskets at the dust dispenser is really fragile. my v12 gasket broke after 2 years of very light usage, and now the dust dispenser can't seal properly.

    Big issue with your carpet test. The dyson v12 spattered the kitty litter around so a bunch ended up where the dreame had already vaccumed. The dreame didnt seem to spread more dust than was already on the carpet but I might be mistaken.

    somehow, with dyson, all the dust passes through the motor and stops in the filter? that's why it's so sensitive ... with Dreame, the dust is retained before the engine

    What about long use of Dreame R20? Dyson is supposed to last for many years.

    Nice review Julian. As an ex Dyson owner, 1 major issue I faced with that you need to keep the trigger depressed for it to work. I finally got another brand that has an 'on/off' trigger so my hands are freed up.

    • @mainsource8030
      @mainsource8030 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      dysons no longer have the trigger, instead an on off switch

    Dyson is unrivaled in engineering. It has also pioneered the technology of all cordless vacuum cleaners. If you have a Dyson vacuum cleaner, you can find its spare part anywhere in the world. There are spare parts everywhere, original or fake. Dyson works hard on new and useful technologies. Vacuum cleaners other than Dyson will start to leak dust after a while and their suction power will decrease. Their cyclones do not have enough technology to separate the dust from the air.

    As a shameful owner of dyson, I hate it. Electrolux was the best vacuum I've tried but that may be biased because I hate dyson so much

    • @KB-420.
      @KB-420. ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah you're being biased lol I don't like dyson as a company. Their stuff is over priced for what it is especially the air purifier range, but their hoovers are great. Most people I know own a cordless dyson instead of an old school hoover, me included. I have a white american bulldog with skin problems and live in a apartment, I have to hoover 3 times a day as the place literally gets coated with hairs. On the medium setting it lifts everything with one pass, and I'd say I'm a pretty good honest opinion about their machine considering how much I use it. Also this video gives incorrect info, I picked my dyson up off their website 6/7 months back and that was when this video was uploaded. I paid £550 for mine which is around $680, got 9 attachments and a floor dock charging station that costs £150 to buy on it's own, so it was a far better deal than the dreame lol

    • @SomeGuy-qd3li

      @@KB-420. Electrolux gives you all that for less than half that price bruh

    • @KB-420.
      @KB-420. ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SomeGuy-qd3li What Dyson have you got, is it a v12 or v15? As they come with the laser for hard floors that electrolux doesn't have. And if it ain't got a laser, I ain't interested lol As it's a game changer for cleaning hard floors, you wouldn't know if you never tried one tho. Also electrolux isn't fully sealed verified hepa 13 standard like new dysons, which is a huge deal if you have allergies. Also price isn't a concern for me, especially if you're paying a little more for a better quality machine. There's limits, but £550 is buttons really lol Also cheaper doesn't always mean better... I used lots of other machines over the years before spending extra on a dyson, but they kept falling apart.. literally lol Last electrolux I owned got an electrical problem 5 months in and lost half it's suction power. Last shark cordless I owned wheels fell off after 6/7 months and couldn't be fixed, leaving the machine completely unusable. But sure keep thinking half the price means a better machine, when in reality that's never the case lol I've owned my dyson around 7 months now, and not had one single problem. Neither have any of my friend's... My friend just bought a v12 after owning a v10 for 2 years, the v10 still works fine and he still uses it. My mum purchased a v12 last month to to replace a v6 she owned for 8 years, then sold the v6 as it still works like new. Let's see you do that with an electrolux... 😂

    I almost order one R20 due to your bias review.
    Then I realized R20 is still required to keep pressing on the trigger button which found in the comment here. Only i realized I was watching 10 mins Dreame advertisement.

    • @JulianTechTM
      @JulianTechTM  ปีที่แล้ว +14

      Hello there,
      I understand there might be bias in the review when the products is sponsor but I can assure you that I did my best to do the test as fair as possible. And Dreame had no say in what I can say or not say. I believe I made a video that's fair on both brands.
      for the trigger button there is a lock button where you can lock the vacuum to it's on position.
